    Abstract: Method for signal generation in broadband wireless communications, comprises: A. modulating, segmenting and serial-parallel converting the signal data to be transmitted, then computing DFT of the serial-parallel converted data so as to transfer them to frequency domain; B. performing block unit modulating processing and block repeat modulating processing on the frequency domain data, then mapping the block units to assigned time-frequency positions; C. computing IFFT of the mapped block units, then adding them to the cycle prefix, thus the random sequences in time domain are generated.     Abstract: A method for determining the radio frame structure of a Time Division Duplex system is disclosed, which comprises: configuring, by the network side, the radio frame structure used for service transmission as containing two half-frames each of 5 ms, wherein each half-frame consists of eight service time slots of 0.5 ms and one special time slot field of 1 ms, two consecutive service time slots form a subframe of which the length is 1 ms, and the special time slot field contains a DwPTS, a GP and an UpPTS; determining the lengths of the DwPTS, the GP and the UpPTS in the special time slot field according to the requirements of the coverage range, and determining the radio frame structure used for service transmission. By reconfiguring the radio frame structure, the invention can flexibly support different coverage ranges, enhance the flexibility of satisfying different service requirements, and implement the coexistence of two types of TDD systems.

    Abstract: A method for data transmission is disclosed. The method includes: performing, by a system, resource element mapping on modulation symbols which include data to be transmitted and reference signals and which are allocated to antenna ports of a designated type; performing antenna port mapping on the modulation symbols which are through the resource element mapping; and generating Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) signals based on the modulation symbols which are through the antenna port mapping and transmitting the OFDM signals via physical antennas. The present invention also discloses an apparatus for data transmission. In the method and apparatus provided by the present invention, through establishing a mapping relationship between physical antenna elements and antenna ports, beamforming weights are added to modulation symbols of users at the same time. Thus, beamforming operation of the users is implemented.

    Abstract: A method for data transmission in a TDD system is disclosed. The method includes: configuring, by a base station, a length respectively for a Downlink Pilot Slot (DwPTS) and an Uplink Pilot Slot (UpPTS) within a special field of a radio half-frame based on a current coverage area taking one Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbol as a unit, and issuing a configured result to a user device, wherein a total length of the DwPTS, a Guard Period (GP) slot and the UpPTS is kept to be 1 ms; constructing, by the base station, radio half-frames for data transmission according to the configured result. An apparatus for data transmission in the TDD system is also disclosed. According to the present invention, coverage area of different levels with smaller granularity is supported, radio resources are saved and transmission efficiency is increased.

The method includes: mapping a channel estimation code and data symbols of a Broadcast/Multicast Service to a resource unit, wherein the channel estimation code is mapped in front of the data symbols in a signal frame at a time slot for all services or a time slot for the MBMS; and transmitting the resource unit. Using the present application, efficiency and performance of transmitting a MBMS are improved, and the multi-cells combining of the MBMS and deployment of the MBMS with a macro cell mechanism are implemented efficiently.
