    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for determining the size of the fresh air inlet performed by a computing device, and an indoor unit of an air conditioner. The computing device acquires an outputting air volume and a fresh air coefficient of the indoor unit of the air conditioner; calculates a cross-sectional area of the fresh air inlet, according to the outputting air volume and the fresh air coefficient of the indoor unit of the air conditioner; and calculates a diameter of the fresh air inlet, according to the cross-sectional area of the fresh air inlet. The indoor unit of the air conditioner having the fresh air inlet can improve the comfort in the indoor environment and user's experience satisfaction without adversely affecting the heat exchange efficiency.
