  • Publication number: 20220291350
Abstract: The present application discloses a method and a device for controlling a micro galvanometer of a solid-state LiDAR, and a solid-state LiDAR. The method includes acquiring a vertical angle range of a field of view scanned by the solid-state LiDAR, determining a first vertical angle of the field of view and a second vertical angle of the field of view corresponding to a preset ROI region of the solid-state LiDAR, reducing a slow axis scanning speed of the micro galvanometer to a first preset speed when it is monitored that the micro galvanometer scans the first vertical angle of the field of view, and adjusting the slow axis scanning speed of the micro galvanometer to a second preset speed when it is monitored that the micro galvanometer scans the second vertical angle of the field of view.

  • Patent number: 10625141
Abstract: A self-balancing vehicle includes two vehicle bodies, respectively including a carrier assembly, a moving mechanism, a control assembly, and a power supply device coupled to the control assembly. The carrier assembly includes a frame and a foot platform coupled to the frame to form a cavity. The frame recess towards the foot platform defining a groove. The moving mechanism includes a wheel disposed on the groove side of the frame and a driving member. Part of the wheel is accommodated in the groove. The driving member drive the wheel to rotate relative to the frame. The control assembly includes a posture sensor detecting a tilt angle of the frame with respect to the vertical direction and a controller controlling a rotation speed of the driving member. At least one of the power supply device and the controller is accommodated in the cavity.

  • Patent number: 10482073
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for updating a search index with new uniform resource locators (URLs) and spiking URLs with increased user interest. History data, provided from browser applications residing on users' computers that indicate URLs accessed by the users, is parsed to identify new/previously unknown URLs. The history data also indicates URLs in which there is increased interest based on a number of recent hits as compared to an average number of hits determined over time. Author postings of new URLs to social networking sites and a quality rating of the authors may also be used to identify and filter new URLs. Search indexes are updated with the new and spiking URL data. As such, lag time between posting of new URLs and spiking of URL interest and inclusion of this data in a search index is greatly decreased.

  • Patent number: 8255385
Abstract: Methods and systems for determining an adaptive crawl rate for a Web crawler based on historical publication data from a Web source are provided. A frequency of publication of the Web source is determined over a specified period of time, and an adaptive crawl rate is calculated using the frequency of publication. The Web crawler is then deployed at the calculated adaptive crawl rate.
