    Abstract: A device preventing movement of a lever in an upward and downward direction is disclosed. The device has a first projection and a second projection that are moveable radially to a first position that prevents movement of the lever, and to a second position that permits movement of the lever. The first projection and the second projection may be moved independently by engaging respective buttons on the first projection and the second projection. The device has many uses, included as a safety device to prevent children or others from moving a door lever to open a door.
