Abstract: The apparatus receives a PUCCH resource configuration associated with a PUCCH resource. The PUCCH resource configuration indicates at least one of a PUCCH resource repetition configuration or a PUCCH resource inter-slot frequency hopping configuration for the PUCCH resource that is independent of PUCCH formats. In addition, the apparatus transmits a PUCCH in the PUCCH resource based on the at least one of the PUCCH resource repetition configuration or the PUCCH resource inter-slot frequency hopping configuration configured in the PUCCH resource configuration. The received PUCCH resource configuration may override a PUCCH format configuration. The apparatus may receive a DCI indicating the PUCCH resource and/or a MAC-CE associated with the PUCCH resource configuration, and may transmit the PUCCH based on the received DCI/MAC-CE.

  • Publication number: 20240121801
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques to address the scenarios where some SRS symbols in a timeline have been transmitted prior to other SRS symbols that belong to the same TD-OCC block being dropped. To address such issues when TD-OCC of length X is applied to X symbols of an SRS resource and if detection of a DCI format may result in canceling one or more symbols of the X symbols, the UE may also determine to cancel one or more additional SRS symbols of the X symbols based on a number of considerations provided herein.

  • Publication number: 20240113838
Abstract: Uplink control channel group and cross-carrier scheduling is disclosed for cooperative communications of a virtual UE. In an aspect, a UE reports a cooperative configuration with member UEs of a virtual UE and reports associations between a plurality of component carriers (CCs) allocated to a cell group and each member UE of the virtual UE. The UE may then receive an uplink control transmission configuration message dividing each member UE into an assigned uplink control transmission group and assign one or more component CCs into one or more CC sets, wherein each CC set is assigned to each uplink control transmission group. The UE may receive an uplink scheduling message from a serving base station, wherein the uplink scheduling message includes an uplink schedule for CCs within the CC set assigned to an uplink control transmission group associated with the UE. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

  • Patent number: 11937185
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support a shared transmission power control (TPC) for uplink data and control channels. In a first aspect, a method includes a user equipment (UE) receiving a TPC command in downlink control messages from a serving base station. Each TPC command includes a power correction indicator. The UE may then apply an accumulation of power correction indicators received in the downlink control messages to an adjustment state associated with a transmit power of an of uplink control channel and an uplink data channel. The UE transmits to an uplink receive point, the uplink control or data channel according to the transmit power adjusted by the accumulation of power correction indicators applied to the adjustment state. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

  • Publication number: 20240080851
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, downlink control information (DCI) that activates periodic channel state information (CSI) reporting via uplink shared channel transmissions (e.g., via physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions). The UE may then identify a trigger condition that triggers a transmission of both a first instance of a CSI report and a second instance of the CSI report within a period of the periodic CSI reporting. Based on the satisfaction of the trigger condition, the UE may transmit the first instance of the CSI report via a first uplink shared channel transmission and the second instance of the CSI report via a second uplink shared channel transmission, where both uplink channel transmissions are within the period of the periodic CSI reporting.

  • Patent number: 11924127
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may receive a control signal that triggers the UE to transmit one or more SRSs of an SRS resource set, where the SRS resource set spans multiple slots, and to receive configuration information that includes timing information for transmission of the one or more SRSs relative to a timing of receipt of the control signal. Additionally, the described techniques provide for a UE to receive a control signal that indicates an SRS beam management configuration that identifies at least a first SRS resource set and a second SRS resource set that are linked together such that the UE may determine a transmit beam for an SRS resource of the second SRS resource set based on an additional transmit beam for a corresponding SRS resource of the first SRS resource set.

  • Patent number: 11917603
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to methods and apparatus for encoding repetitions of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). In some aspects, the disclosed methods or techniques include first determining that a first number of REs of a first PUCCH repetition used for UCI transmission is different than a second number of REs of a second PUCCH repetition used for the UCI transmission. Based on the determination, the UE performs one or more actions to provide a same mother polar code length for generating coded bits for each of the first and second PUCCH repetitions. The UE performs polar code encoding of information bits of the UCI for the first PUCCH repetition and the second PUCCH repetition based on the same mother polar code length. The UE transmits the first and the second PUCCH repetitions including the respective polar-encoded UCI.
