  • Patent number: 11028132
Abstract: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19 or COVID-2) is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Common symptoms include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. The virus is mainly spread during close contact and via respiratory droplets produced when people cough or sneeze. Respiratory droplets may be produced during breathing but the virus is not generally airborne. A half-life optimized fusion composition linked by a Half-Life Optimizing (H-Lo) linker comprising of a receptor binding domain (RBD), a half-life extending domain (LED), wherein the LED is any one of a monoclonal antibody, single domain antibody, nanobody, antibody fragment, or combination thereof and the H-Lo linker with an X+7 amino acid length fusing the RBD C-terminus with the LED N-terminus (RBD-LED fusion) is discussed in the invention.

  • Patent number: 10874775
Abstract: Disclosed and claimed is any one of long-dwelling body lumen apparatus, such as a catheter or stent (c/s), said c/s comprising: at least one lumen fittingly disposed within a tubular member; a scaffold circumferentially disposed around at least one of an outer surface of at least the tubular member; said scaffold radially extending for at least a portion of the length of the at least tubular member. Furthermore, the scaffold comprised of any one of a pattern of interlocking struts with individual well-like reservoirs disposed; each reservoir having a depth sufficient enough to house at least a first agent of any one of a chemical moiety, each of the reservoirs capped to form an enclosure; and wherein a delayed degradation of said cap results in a sudden release of the housed at least first agent. Any number of agents, reservoirs, and cap configurations may be possible.

  • Publication number: 20170086788
Abstract: Disclosed are non-imaging low frequency ultrasound apparatus and methods that extend the range of ultrasonic applications to medical testing and diagnostics. More particularly, apparatus and methods for generating, transmitting and receiving low frequency ultrasound through a test body can be used to generate non-imaging medical mapping of ultrasound signals and medical diagnostics. Typically frequencies below 1 MHz are generated by a low frequency non-imaging wide aperture transmitting transducer and received by multiple low frequency small aperture receiving transducers and processed via improved signal processing to evaluate and map the ultrasound interactions for detecting and characterizing clinical conditions in test objects.

  • Publication number: 20070213612
Abstract: The suggested method of urodynamic diagnostics envisages the assessment of the presence of detrusor activity. The method characterizes detrusor activity caused by a condition of the urinary system not influenced by provocative factors. The said detrusor activity is being detected non-invasively. That is, true detrusor activity is detected by means of ultrasound examination. The method is intended for the diagnostic assessment of involuntary urination and for diagnostic assessment of impaired urination. The method allows an increased accuracy of urodynamic diagnostic and assessment detrusor activity, non-invasively.
