    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a multi-modal multi-view classification method for echocardiograms based on a deep learning algorithm, including: collecting videos and images of multi-modal multi-view adult echocardiograms, and preprocessing the videos and images; annotating the preprocessed videos and images of adult echocardiograms to generate an adult echocardiogram dataset; dividing the adult echocardiogram dataset into a training set, a validation set, and a test set; constructing an adult echocardiogram view classification model based on a ResNet network, training the model using the training set, and selecting an optimal classification model using the validation set; evaluating performance of the optimal adult echocardiogram view classification model based on the test set; and inputting a to-be-tested image or video into the adult echocardiogram view classification model to obtain a classification result.

    Abstract: An improved method for the chemical synthesis of glycosylated peptides has been developed. The method uses stereoselective glycan synthesis and chemical peptide ligation to produce glycopeptides at lower-cost and with higher efficiency/yield compared to conventional methods. In particular, a method for the large-scale, chemical synthesis of hydroxylated amino acid building blocks and glycosylated amino acids suitable for solid phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) are disclosed. SPPS-based methods using the glycosylated amino acids to chemically synthesize adiponectin-like peptides are also described. In vivo studies show that the adiponectin mimicking glycopeptides exhibit significant anticancer, anti-obesity and insulin sensitizing effects. Pharmaceutical compositions of the synthetic glycopeptides and methods of use thereof in treating diseases associated with deficient adiponectin are also described.

The method selects a set of groups for the identified set of compute machines from a plurality of existing groups of compute machines based on a user-specified threshold indicating tolerance for inclusion of compute machines that are not in the identified set of compute machines in the selected groups. The method uses the selected set of groups for the match condition of the firewall rule.

    Abstract: A high-strength medical fiber composite material includes a sodium alginate hydrogel matrix and a fiber framework. The fiber framework is completely embedded in the sodium alginate hydrogel matrix and formed by compounding supporting layer fibers and reinforcing layer fibers. The reinforcing layer fibers are located above the supporting layer fibers. The reinforcing layer fibers and the supporting layer fibers are orthogonal to each other. According to the high-strength medical fiber composite material prepared in the present invention, the stiffness is improved by 3-4 orders of magnitude, the tensile strength is improved by 2-3 orders of magnitude, and the high-strength medical fiber composite material has high biocompatibility and safety and a great application prospect.

    Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for generating microsegmentation recommendations, performed by a network monitoring service implemented in a public cloud to monitor data flows for a group of datacenters. The method receives a selection of a set of logical network compute nodes (LNCNs) located at a particular datacenter for which to generate recommended rules. The method analyzes flows collected by the network monitoring service in order to generate a set of recommended rules relating to the set of LNCNs. The method provides the set of rules to a local manager at the particular datacenter for the local manager to configure network elements at the particular datacenter to enforce the set of rules. The rules use compute node identifiers for LNCNs located at the particular datacenter and network addresses for LNCNs located at other datacenters as the local manager does not store data regarding compute nodes located at the other datacenters.

When performing evaporation operations, the first and the second evaporation materials are pre-melted; and then the evaporation operations are carried out alternately after pre-melting, with a total time of the evaporation operation of 1000-1200 seconds. The finished film has four layers, from the inside to the outside, the four layers are a first coating layer, a second coating layer, a third coating layer and a fourth coating layer; the first coating layer and the third coating layer have a same material, and the second coating layer and the fourth coating layer have another same material.

A convolution model is used for fitting a blurring process of a clear image and then the blurred image I is restored, so that the purpose of image deblurring is achieved. The method comprises an evaluation process of the significant structure of a blurred image, a process of blurring kernel estimation and outlier suppression, and a process of restoring the blurred image by non-blind deconvolution. A structure in the blurred image is obtained by use of L0 norm constraint and heavy-tailed a priori information. The L0 norm constraint is used to evaluate the blurring kernel. The evaluated blurring kernel is subjected to outlier suppression. The final restored image is obtained by using a non-blind deconvolution algorithm. The present invention can prominently improve the restoration level of the blurred image.
