  • Publication number: 20100223591
Abstract: A method for converting a web service composition logic and an application server includes: obtaining a first BPEL process framework of an existing BPEL composition logic; generating a DAG composition logic according to the first BPEL process framework; obtaining an independent path group according to the DAG composition logic; analyzing an independent path grouping result to generate a second BPEL process framework; and filling a process of the second BPEL process framework to generate an executable process. An application server is provided to convert the web service composition logic. The method and the application server provided herein optimize the logic through parallelism or nesting of web service invocation, and improve the execution efficiency.

  • Publication number: 20090207907
Abstract: The present invention relates to an image processing apparatus and a method and a program that enable an amount of code to be suppressed below a desired value with more reliability. An emergency mode determining section 142 determines that the amount of code of a next picture is likely to exceed an upper limit if a target bit calculated by a rate controlling section 118 exceeds a predetermined upper limit. If it is determined that the amount of code of the next picture is likely to exceed the upper limit, the code amount controlling section 142 controls an orthogonal transducing section 114 to replace a transform coefficient of a predetermined frequency component with zero, controls an intra predicting section 125 to restrict intra prediction modes to be applied, and controls a mode determining section 127 to restrict inter prediction modes to be applied. The prevent invention can be applied to an encoding apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20090046092
Abstract: A coding device having a judgment unit configured to judge whether or not a GOP is a GOP where GOP unit flicker is readily visible in an image decoded after encoded the GOP, for each of GOPs forming image data to be coded, and a coding unit configured to apply processing for suppressing the GOP unit flicker when the judgment unit judges that the GOP is a GOP where flicker is readily visible.

  • Patent number: 7158570
Abstract: Motion picture data is compression-encoded by a compression encoder with the frame rate changing according to the amount of accumulated data of the buffer, which can adequately change the number of pieces of frame image data to be compression-encoded per unit time, according to the change in the picture of the motion picture. In addition, tracing is done to trace extract image data in the frame image data by using a simple motion vector detected for the frame image data of the motion picture data, a higher layer motion vector detector detects a motion vector of the frame image data by using the simple motion vector in common, and a compression encoder extracts the extract image data based on the results of tracing and compression-encodes it by using the motion vector.

  • Publication number: 20060072835
Abstract: An image pickup device includes an image pickup unit outputting an image pickup result; an analog-to-digital converter analog-to-digital converting the image pickup result and outputting image data; a reduced image generator generating a plurality of reduced images by sequentially and gradually reducing a resolution of an original image based on the image data a number of times equal to a predetermined number of stages; an encoder in which, for a reduced image with the lowest resolution, corresponding image data is encoded and encoded data is output, and for the other reduced images and the original image, differential data with respect to prediction image data based on the reduced image with a resolution lower by one stage is encoded and encoded data is output; and a prediction image data generator generating the prediction image data from the encoded data.

  • Publication number: 20060013299
Abstract: Disclosed is an coding apparatus, an coding method, an coding method program, and a recording medium recording the coding method program. The present invention is applicable to transmission of motion pictures using satellite broadcasts, cable television, Internet, cellular phones, and the like, and recording of motion pictures on recording media such as optical disks, magnetic optical disks, flash memory, and the like, for example. In this manner, the coding apparatus can be also constructed to function as a decoding apparatus and an image conversion apparatus. An embodiment of the present invention can simplify the overall construction of such coding apparatus. An embodiment of the present invention detects an optimum prediction mode for intra prediction and inter prediction prior to a coding process. The embodiment detects variables IntraSAD, InterSAD, and (X) indicating differential data sizes according to the detected optimum prediction mode.

  • Publication number: 20030174769
Abstract: Motion picture data is compression-encoded by a compression encoding means on frame image data basis, and while being stored once in a buffer, the frame rate is changed by a frame rate changing means according to the amount of accumulated data of the buffer, which can adequately change the number of pieces of frame image data to be compression-encoded per unit time, according to the change in the picture of the motion picture, so as to stabilize compressibility and to stabilize the image quality of the motion picture, thus making it possible to adequately provide the motion picture of desired image quality.

  • Patent number: 6496194
Abstract: A halftone display method utilizes an activation sequence, having a plurality of luminance blocks predefined in each frame or field to display an image and having redundancy, that enables one gray-scale level to be expressed by any one of a plurality of combinations of subframes (luminance blocks). When determining luminance blocks for use to display gray scale of an arbitrary first pixel, the luminance blocks to be used for the first pixel are selected in accordance with a predetermined rule, based on how the luminance blocks are used for a second pixel located in close proximity to the first pixel. In this way, by actively utilizing the redundancy of the activation sequence, the occurrence of moving-image false contours (false color contours) in video can be minimized, and also a motion compensation equalizing pulse method can be effectively applied to further improve the image display quality.
