  • Patent number: 11834170
Abstract: An airfoil surface skin, comprising a network of a solid material, embedded in a base of deformable solid material. Fluid pressure applied to the interface between the network and the surrounding embedding material, opens an internal network of channels by viscous peeling of the surrounding solid from the network. The network is offset from the centerline the surround material, such that pressure driven viscous flow through the narrow channels generates two types of deformation of the skin—an in-plane elongation and a curvature of the skin plane itself. The shape of the internal solid core element and its material, and the material of the encompassing solid are chosen to achieve a desired integral structural rigidity. The injected fluid pressure determines the extent of extension and bending. Use of this skin enables shape amending airfoils having reduced drag compared with similar airfoils having conventional flap mechanisms.

  • Patent number: 11544642
Abstract: An automatic supplier recommendation engine for suggesting a product supplier from outside of an existing merchant network is disclosed. A set of optimization solutions may include pricing, performance, shipping, duties, trust score and other inventory or manufacturing factors. The set of optimization solutions are run on a processor to determine optimal fulfillment for products in an e-commerce platform. A set of heuristics may include geographic location, quality, sizing of purchases, similarity of supplier offerings, supplier positioning and other attributes may be created for merchants and suppliers. The set of optimization solutions are run, and the set of heuristics for each merchant and for each supplier are compared, to determine whether a match exists. A prospective merchant-supplier relationship may be communicated and established via an e-commerce platform.

  • Publication number: 20220366660
Abstract: A system and a method predict a collision free posture of a kinematic system. The method includes: receiving a 3D virtual environment, receiving a 3D representation of the kinematic system and a set of 3D postures defined for the 3D virtual kinematic system, receiving a target task to be performed by the kinematic system with respect to the surrounding environment, and receiving a prescribed location within the 3D virtual environment. The prescribed location defines a position at which the 3D virtual kinematic system has to be placed within the 3D virtual environment. A collision free detection function (CFD) is applied to a set of input data containing the 3D virtual environment, the target task, the prescribed location and the set of postures. The CFD function outputs a set of collision free postures enabling the kinematic system to perform the target task when located at the prescribed location.

  • Publication number: 20220278675
Abstract: A latch and/or flip-flop with reduced dynamic capacitance for the clock node. Power associated with the clock node is reduced without timing impact. Merely two clock devices and merely the signal on the clock input pin toggles when the data does not change. As such, power is reduced. Further, the latch is interrupted-based with no contention or jamming issues. The latch can be configured as master and slave latches to form a flip-flop.
