    Abstract: This application discloses a communications method and related communications apparatus and system. The method includes recovering, by a first node, when detecting that a first packet is lost, the first packet according to a local recovery mechanism. The first packet is a packet obtained based on a packet sent by at least one first terminal to at least one second terminal, and the first node is a node on a network path between each first terminal and a second terminal communicating with the first terminal. The method further includes adding a first identification information related to local recovery, and sending the first packet. This application can reduce a transmission delay and improve transmission efficiency.

The method described here includes: selecting a target time point at a storage system from multiple backup time points. The method further includes: determining a change in a data system in the storage system from the target time point to a current time point. With the solution for restoring data of the present application, it is possible to reduce, based on the change in the data system since the target time point, the amount of data that needs to be retrieved in order to restore the current data system to a backup at the target time point, thereby achieving efficient data restoration.

A difference between the reference mapping and the copy reference mapping is determined. The user system is recovered to the backup copy based on the determined difference. The user system can be recovered to a designated version more effectively by the above method. A corresponding device and a corresponding computer program product are further provided.
