  • Patent number: 9873758
Abstract: A polyurethane reaction system includes an isocyanate component having at least one polyisocyanate and an isocyanate-reactive component having a storage stable polyol component that is a single phase liquid mixture at 23° C. including a first polyether polyol and a second polyether polyol. The first polyether polyol is included in an amount from 20 wt % to 90 wt %, based on total weight of the polyol component, is a glycol based polyoxypropylene-polyoxyethylene polyether polyol having number average molecular weight from 1500 g/mol to 1975 g/mol, and has a polyoxyethylene content from 26 wt % and 34 wt % based on a total weight of the first polyether polyol. The second polyether polyol is included in an amount from 10 wt % to 80 wt %, based on total weight of the polyol component, has a number average molecular weight from 750 g/mol to 4000 g/mol, and has a melting point higher than 23° C.
