  • Patent number: 10960621
Abstract: A device for making a double-sided toothed belt has an inner mold having teeth and an outer mold. The outer mold includes segments arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis of the inner mold and mutually adjacent. The device has a force transmission element arranged on the radial outer side of the segments. A pressure vessel has a cylindrical wall surrounding the force transmission element. The force transmission element is formed as a bellows fastened with two ends in pressure-tight fashion to the pressure vessel. The force transmission element is arranged in a ring-shaped space formed between the wall of the pressure vessel and the radial outer side of the segments. The pressure vessel has a pressure medium bore which opens into the ring-shaped space radially outside the force transmission element. The segments and the inner mold each have one axial passage bore through which fluid can be conducted.

  • Publication number: 20180154597
Abstract: A method for making a V-ribbed belt is made by inserting a first partial blank in the form of a base tube into a cylindrical vulcanization mold having a negative of a V-ribbed profile. The first partial blank is molded into a surrounding negative and thus provided with the V-ribbed profile without vulcanization. A second partial blank made as a top ply tube with a tension strand is inserted into the virtually completely molded-in base tube and is expanded under heat and pressure so that the top ply tube and the base tube are bonded to one another. Thereafter, the latter is molded into the surrounding negative of the vulcanization mold, and the top ply tube and the base tube are vulcanized to form a V-ribbed blank, whereafter the V-ribbed blank is removed from the vulcanization mold and is fed to the cutting device.

  • Patent number: 7137918
Abstract: The invention relates to a ribbed V-belt having an elastomeric cover layer (1), a tension-support layer (3) and an elastomeric base body (2). The base body (2) has ribs which have an outer coating containing polymers and fibers and is fixedly joined to the base body. The outer coating is an elastomeric layer having a layer thickness of 0.15 to 0.25 mm. The elastomeric layer is based on an interlaced rubber and contains at least fibers (5) in combination with a fluoropolymer powder (6) and/or a powder of non-ferrous metal. The invention also relates to a method of making the ribbed V-belt.

  • Patent number: 7128674
Abstract: The invention relates to a frictionally engaged driving belt having a base body (2) and a cover layer (1) that consists of rubber or a rubber-like synthetic material which is provided with a tractive support layer (3) that is embedded into the rubber or the rubber-like synthetic material. The aim of the invention is to prevent or reduce the generation of noise in drives of the belts. Only the surface or a portion of the surface, preferably the motion-transferring part of the surface, pertaining to the driving belt is provided with a flocking material consisting of short aramide fibers (5). A portion of said aramide fibers (5) is integrated into the surface only with a partial length of each individual fiber.
