Abstract: To enable a visitor network to access a host network, a method includes steps in which a router of a visitor network connects to a router of a host network and transmits to it an address request message containing an identifier of the visitor router. The host router extracts, from the address request message received, the identifier of the visitor router, and transmits, to the visitor router, an address assignment message containing either an address or an address prefix of the host network, depending on the identifier of the visitor router extracted from the address request message.

Abstract: A service is provided to a user of a terminal in a network, comprising a service platform and network equipment including session border controllers. Each of the controllers is capable of communicating with the service platform. At least one given session border controller is capable of routing messages received from the terminal, intended for the service platform. This controller decides that the service platform is not accessible on the basis of an accessibility check (302) and then operates in an autonomous operating mode (303, 310) according to which the controller selects a network equipment separate from the service platform and routes at least one message received from the terminal to said selected network equipment.

Abstract: A method of transmitting data between nodes of a network, a node being attached to an IP environment calls its source environment. Abstract: One embodiment disclosed herein is a reservation method comprising receiving an invitation message to a conference from a device associated with the organizer of the conference, the invitation message identifying at least one participant distinct from the organizer, a search process performed on behalf of the participant(s) identified in the invitation message, of searching for conference hardware resources appropriate for the conference and for the participant(s), a reservation process performed for the participant(s), of reserving the hardware resource(s), if any, identified during the search process, and sending a notification message to the device(s) of the participant(s) specifying the server hardware resource(s).

Abstract: A method and a device for transmitting at least a portion of a signal during a video conference session is disclosed. In one aspect, a method of transmitting at least a portion of a signal acquired by a first terminal to one second terminal during a video conference session, the signal comprising an audio stream and a video stream conveying images acquired with the help of one video image sensor is disclosed. The method comprises obtaining a parameter representative of a quality of the acquisition performed by the sensor of the video images conveyed by the video stream of the signal, and a process of notifying the first terminal of information representative of the acquisition quality. If this parameter is representative of an acquisition quality that is higher than a predetermined level, both the audio stream and the video stream of the signal are transmitted to the second terminal.

The method includes a step of inserting a type indicator into a message (RE(1), I(1)) sent by a user agent in one of said nodes before setting up a communications session between said nodes, said type indicator representing the type of address associated with said user agent (A).
