Abstract: A printing method includes producing a first image at a first position (16a, 23a) on a movable intermediate transfer member (ITM) (44) of a printing system (10), and moving the ITM (44) for transferring the first image to a first substrate (50). For a second image that is intended to be produced on the ITM (44) at a second position (16b, 23b) different from the first position (16a, 23a): (i) a deliberate offset (18, 24) of the second position (16b, 23b) relative to the first position (16a, 23a), is specified, (ii) a movement of the ITM (44) that would at least partially compensate for the offset (18, 24) when transferring the second image to a second substrate (50), is calculated, and (iii) the second image is produced and the ITM (44) is moved in accordance with the calculated movement, for transferring the second image to the second substrate (50).

Abstract: A battery disconnect device for a motor vehicle and the like includes a housing with a monitor circuit and a sealed relay. The monitoring circuit senses various conditions, such as current drawn from the battery, drop in the battery voltage, engine starting, engine running, and the like and in response operates the relay to insure that the battery does not get damaged or depleted.
