  • Patent number: 11477942
Abstract: A harvesting system includes a vertical frame, a plurality of linear robots, a plurality of cameras and a processor. The vertical frame is configured to be positioned opposite a sector to be harvested. The robots are arranged in pairs stacked vertically in the frame, each pair including first and second robots that are configured to move together along a vertical axis, to move independently of one another along a horizontal axis, and have respective first and second robot arms that are configured to approach the sector and harvest fruit. The plurality of cameras is configured to acquire images of the sector. The processor is configured to identify the fruit in the images and control the robots to harvest the fruit.

  • Patent number: 8010462
Abstract: A last mile delivery system (LAMIS system) for delivery of parcels to recipients includes Automatic Delivery Machines (ADMs) that are located in public places. Each ADM has a local computer and data and communication network connection, and a set of cells for storing parcels, and a single access mechanism for each such set adapted to provide a recipient with access to a parcel stored in a cell while preventing access to parcels in other cells. Control centers use an ADM database with locations of the ADMs, a LAMIS server computer program for handling the data associated with the operation of the system. The control center has data and communication network connecting the LAMIS server with the local computers of the ADMs. The local computers are adapted to identify the recipient and to provide access to the parcel in the cell of the chosen ADM.

  • Publication number: 20100263345
Abstract: Provided is a cutter-mixer-feeder (CMF) for producing, transporting and discharging fodder. The CMF includes a mobile platform, a chopper assembly for harvesting at least one raw material and production of fodder, a container for receiving at least one of the raw material and fodder, at least one auger for chopping and mixing the fodder, at least one conveyer belt for discharging the fodder to livestock, a drive unit for providing power for at least one of the above; and a control system. Based on the data, the control system is adapted to dynamically match power distribution of the drive unit to any one of the above elements relative to the desired load exerted thereon. The mobile platform has first and second wheel axles for individual and independent manipulation by the control system. The chopper assembly has an elongated chopper member having a central axis and fitted with a spiral blade extending around a central axis. The chopper member has a non-uniform pitch.

  • Publication number: 20010034665
Abstract: There is provided a Last Mile delivery system (LAMIS system) for delivery of parcels to recipients, including a plurality of Automatic Delivery Machines (ADMs), located in public places and other places convenient for the recipients. Each ADM has a local computer and data and comunication network connection, and at least a set of cells, possibly of adjustable size, for storing parcels, and a single access mechanism for each such set, adapted to provide a recipient with access to a parcel stored in a cell while preventing access to parcels in other cells. The system further includes computerized control centers using an ADM database with locations of the ADMs, a LAMIS server computer program for handling the data associated with the operation of the system, which enables a multiple choice of an ADM for the delivery or for sending of the parcel, by using the ADM database. The control center has data and communication network connecting the LAMIS server with the local computers of the ADMs.
