The method includes establishing a short-range wireless connection between the mobile device and the accessory device, determining an incoming telephone number for an incoming telephone call, searching a directory stored on the mobile device for an entry matching the incoming telephone number, and transmitting caller data from the entry matching the incoming telephone number to the accessory device.
