  • Patent number: 7707188
Abstract: A data archival system for the automated archiving of data files. The data archival system includes a central processing hub for receiving the data files, a data archival facility connected to the central processing hub; and an archival manager which is configured to cause the transmission of the data files from the central processing hub to the data archival facility in response to an archive request; the archival of the data files transmitted to the data archival facility in response to an archive request; the retrieval of the data files previously archived in response to a retrieval request; and the transmission of the retrieved data files from the data archival facility to the central processing hub.

  • Patent number: 6519568
Abstract: The present invention comprises a data delivery system for delivering oilfield data from an acquisition site to a remote delivery site comprising a central data hub computer that processes a workflow order for controlling delivery of the oilfield data, a data acquisition site computer that transmits oilfield data over a first communications network to the central data hub in near real-time in response to the workflow order and a data server that receives data from the central data hub over a second communications network. The data server communicates with multiple remote delivery site computers for the simultaneous display of oilfield data in near real-time at the multiple delivery site computers in response to the workflow order.

  • Patent number: 4412294
Abstract: A data display and management system includes a microprocessor whose functions are implemented by instructions in data from a directly connected main memory. A mass data storage memory is connected to the main memory and has permanently stored instructions therein for the microprocessor. A display control system which operates asynchronously with the microprocessor includes a display controller, display memory, character memory means, and a visual character attribute generator. By linking one or more row attribute bytes, or pointers, to each row of characters stored in the display memory the display controller performs character and row manipulation on a display device without transferring whole blocks of data in the display memory. Multi-region display segmentation into horizontal and vertical split regions, smooth or discrete scrolling of individual regions, and various editing functions are achieved by modifying the associated display memory pointers.

Date of Patent: October 25, 1983
    Assignee: Texas Instruments Incorporated

Multi-region display segmentation into horizontal and vertical split regions, smooth or discrete scrolling of individual regions, and various editing functions are achieved by modifying the associated display memory pointers. In one embodiment the display controller is a single integrated circuit device.

  • Patent number: 4159516
Abstract: An input/output controller provides a numer of adjustable timers for timing events such as for polling external devices and includes circuitry which generates interrupt vector signals upon the occurrence of certain events, including the expiration of time set in the adjustable timers and also upon receipt of signals from the external devices. The interrupt signals may be selectively masked when it is not desirable or practical for an interrupt to occur. The controller is an MOS N-channel device on a single chip and is packaged in a 40 pin package and is compatible with a Model TMS 8080 Microprocessor Unit.
