Patent number: 12080294Abstract: An apparatus includes a memory and a processor. The memory stores first and second machine learning algorithms. The processor receives, from a user, voice signals associated with an information request and converts them into text. The processor uses the first machine learning algorithm to determine, based on the text, to automatically generate a reply to the request, rather than transmitting the request to an agent. The processor uses the second machine learning algorithm to generate, based on the set of text, the reply, which it transmits to the user. The processor receives feedback associated with the reply, indicating that the reply does or does not include the requested information. The processor uses the feedback to update either or both machine learning algorithms.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 2023Date of Patent: September 3, 2024Assignee: Bank of America CorporationInventors: Ashwini Patil, Ramakrishna R. Publication number: 20200010347Abstract: A process of removal and recovery of metal-cyanide complex from effluents is disclosed. The process includes isolating a species of Scenedesmus via enrichment culture technique in alkaline medium. The process further includes releasing the species of Scenedesmus, after being isolated, in the effluents at predetermined conditions including a predefined pH and a predefined temperature. The species of Scenedesmus released in the effluents at the predetermined conditions: degrades cyanide moiety of a metal-cyanide present in the effluents and releases the metal ions; utilizes the carbon and nitrogen from the cyanide or metal cyanide complex present in the effluents; accumulates a first fraction of metal ions from the solution; and bio-sorbs the second fraction of the metal ions onto the cells of the microalgae thereby resulting in the removal of both the cyanide and the metal from the effluents. The metal-cyanide complexes comprise at least one of a copper-cyanide and a zinc-cyanide.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 3, 2018Publication date: January 9, 2020Inventor: Yogesh PATIL

Publication number: 20200002204Abstract: A method of removal and recovery of hexavalent chromium from effluents by passive-active biological process is described. The method may include adsorption of the hexavalent chromium by passive biological process of removal of hexavalent chromium from effluents by adsorbing the hexavalent chromium using a treated and conditioned Limonia acidissima biomass particles. The method may further include conducting bioreduction of the leftover chromium present in the effluent in low concentration by using active bacterial culture for complete removal of hexavalent chromium. The treated and conditioned Limonia acidissima biomass particles having the adsorbed hexavalent chromium may be burnt in a furnace at 400° C. to obtain an ash containing hexavalent chromium. The ash obtained may be mixed with water and filtered to obtain a hexavalent chromium solution which could be recycled and reused.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 3, 2018Publication date: January 2, 2020Inventors: Yogesh PATIL, Nilisha ITANKAR
