  • Patent number: 7801351
Abstract: An interactive user interface (UI) for managing digital medical images is disclosed. The UI includes a first display panel for displaying more than one of the digital medical images and a point on each digital medical image located in associated regions for stitching pairs of the digital medical images together, and a second display panel for displaying a composite image comprising the stitched digital medical images. The UI provides means for a user to modify the location of the points and means for applying an algorithm to regenerate the composite image in response to the location of the points.

  • Publication number: 20090169073
Abstract: A computer implemented method and system modifying image processing parameters based on user feedback are disclosed herein. The method comprises: obtaining user preferences on a set of displayed images, based on user feedback on a plurality of queries related to at least one domain-specific descriptor and a plurality of corresponding response options indicating a change in at least one image attribute. The set of displayed images are processed by a known set of image processing parameters. The plurality of corresponding response options are being selectable by a user as user preference in response to the plurality of queries. The method further includes translating the changes in the image attributes to a modified set of image processing parameters.

  • Patent number: 7515682
Abstract: A method for creating a variable slice thickness for displaying an imaged object is disclosed. The method includes acquiring a plurality of projection images from a plurality of different projection angles within a defined sweep angle, reconstructing a plurality of object images from the plurality of projection images, each object image having a first slice thickness, and applying a function rule to combine images, whole images or portions thereof or attributes thereof, of the plurality of projection images, of the plurality of object images, or of both, thereby providing for the display of the object utilizing a second slice thickness that varies from the first slice thickness.
