    Abstract: An apparatus, system and method to provide increasingly fine gradient density depth filtration of a fluid. The apparatus may include a melt-blown filtration assembly having varying densities of melt-blown microfilaments fabricated from acetal or other substantially dimensionally stable thermoplastic. The apparatus thus facilitates efficient filtration by providing a gradient density depth filtration system compatible with various fuels, coolants, and other forms of a fluid.
