    Abstract: The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery that can suppress damage to an electrode body in the vicinity of an end of an insulation tape due to repetition of charging and discharging. A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery is characterized by comprising: an exterior body; a wound-type electrode body which is housed in the exterior body and in which a positive electrode and a negative electrode are wound with a separator interposed therebetween; and an insulation tape stuck to the electrode body. The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery is also characterized in that the insulation tape has a base material layer and an adhesive layer that is provided on a main surface of the base material layer, and a side surface of the base material layer is non-vertically inclined with respect to the main surface.
