  • Publication number: 20250035986
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an optically functional film in which expression of a phase difference and a change in phase difference in a case of being formed into a three-dimensional shape including a curved surface are suppressed, and for example, in a case of being applied to a pancake lens-type virtual reality display apparatus, it is possible to reduce light leakage. Another object of the present invention is to provide an optical laminate including the above-described optically functional film, a formed product, a manufacturing method of an optical component, an optical component, and a virtual reality display apparatus. The optically functional film of the present invention is an optically functional film obtained by forming a composition which contains at least a liquid crystal compound having a polymerizable group, in which a polymerization rate of the liquid crystal compound is 40% or less.

  • Publication number: 20240411075
Abstract: Provided are an optical laminate in which, for example, in a case of being applied to a pancake lens-type virtual reality display apparatus, light leakage can be reduced by canceling out expression of phase difference, change in phase difference, and the like caused by molding into a curved surface; an optical lens including the optical laminate; and a virtual reality display apparatus using the optical lens. The optical laminate includes a first optically anisotropic layer containing a negative birefringent resin, and a specific layer selected from the group consisting of a third optically anisotropic layer which is formed by immobilizing a uniformly aligned liquid crystal compound and a cholesteric liquid crystal layer which is formed by immobilizing a helically aligned liquid crystal compound, in which the first optically anisotropic layer and the specific layer have a curved surface portion.
