Publication number: 20240014765Abstract: In the present invention, an electric motor model comprises: a model of a coil of a stator; and a model of a temperature detector for detecting the temperature of the coil. A parameter such as a thermal capacity is included in the electric motor model. Provided is a parameter setting unit comprising a parameter calculation unit that calculates a parameter so that a change in the temperature of the model of the temperature detector corresponds to a change in the actual temperature. The parameter calculation unit includes an evaluation unit that evaluates the temperature of the model of the temperature detector, the temperature having been calculated using the temporarily set parameter. The evaluation unit evaluates the temperature of the model of the temperature detector without evaluating any variables besides the temperature of the model of the temperature detector.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 13, 2021Publication date: January 11, 2024Inventor: Yohei KAMIYA

Publication number: 20230366745Abstract: An estimation unit of this temperature estimation device estimates the temperature of a temperature detector attached to a coil of a stator using a model of an electric motor. Coefficients related to heat transfer are set between models of components of the electric motor. At least some parameters of coefficients related to the heat capacity and the heat transfer of the models of the components are set to values different from coefficients related to the actual heat capacity and the actual heat transfer. The estimation unit calculates a calorific value due to the iron loss of a stator core in the model of the motor. The estimation unit corrects the iron loss so that the iron loss becomes smaller as the temperature of the rotor becomes higher.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 13, 2021Publication date: November 16, 2023Inventor: Yohei KAMIYA

Patent number: 10698381Abstract: A numerical control method at least controls a spindle motor of a machine tool so as to perform machining in accordance with machining conditions. In the method, vibration occurring in a tool is acquired with a vibration acquisition unit, and the machining on a workpiece performed by a machining control unit is stopped when vibration having a predetermined amplitude or greater occurs in the tool. Based on state data indicating the state of the spindle motor at that time, multiple compensation plans for compensating the state of the spindle motor in order to suppress vibration occurring in the tool are calculated. The thus calculated multiple compensation plans are displayed on a display unit together with the state of the spindle motor at the time of occurrence of vibration having the predetermined amplitude or greater in the tool.Type: GrantFiled: July 26, 2018Date of Patent: June 30, 2020Assignee: FANUC CORPORATIONInventor: Yohei Kamiya
