  • Publication number: 20140287283
Abstract: A power supply apparatus that supplies electric power to an external electrical device through a cable is provided with a battery pack, and a battery pack case that houses the battery pack. The battery pack case includes a case body having an opening through which the battery pack to be taken in and out, a cover member that liquid-tightly closes the opening of the case body, in which at least one of the case body and the cover member is formed with a ventilation hole so as to penetrate therethrough, and a filter apparatus that does not allow liquid to pass therethrough but allows gas to pass therethrough is provided in the ventilation hole.

  • Publication number: 20140187115
Abstract: Provided are a polyphenylene sulfide fiber including a PPS resin as a main component and having both excellent heat resistance and excellent thermal bonding properties, and a nonwoven fabric including the fiber. The polyphenylene sulfide fiber includes polyphenylene sulfide as a main component and having the sum of the crystallinity and the rigid amorphous fraction of 30% to 90%. The crystallinity is preferably not less than 5% and less than 25%. The polyphenylene sulfide fiber is used to form a nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric is preferably produced by consolidation by thermal bonding or mechanical entanglement.

  • Publication number: 20140033849
Abstract: A shift device provided with a shift lever that is movable from a home position to a plurality of mode selection positions including a travel mode selection position and a non-travel mode selection position. A lever holding mechanism holds the shift lever at the travel mode selection position when the shift lever is moved to the travel mode selection position and returns the shift lever from the non-travel mode selection position to the home position when the shift lever is moved to the non-travel mode selection position.

  • Publication number: 20140017966
Abstract: A polyphenylene sulfide composite fiber which consists primarily of component A and component B, the component A being a resin primarily containing polyphenylene sulfide made from p-phenylene sulfide as a primary unit, the component B being a resin primarily containing a copolymerized polyphenylene sulfide made from at least one kind of copolymerization unit other than p-phenylene sulfide, wherein at least one part of a fiber surface is made of component B. A thermally adhesive composite fiber and a nonwoven fabric which are made of a resin consisting primarily of polyphenylene sulfide and are excellent in heat resistance, flame retardancy and chemical resistance can be provided.

  • Patent number: 8623268
Abstract: A production method for a filament non-woven fabric includes a) obtaining filaments having a crystallization temperature not exceeding 112° C. by melting a resin containing polyethylene sulfide as a main component which is not substantially copolymerized with trichlorobenzene; b) pulling and drawing fiber threads formed by discharging the melted resin from spinning nozzles at a spinning speed of at least 5,000 m/min and less than 6,000 m/min by an ejector disposed such that a distance between a bottom face of the spinning nozzles and a compressed air emission outlet of the ejector is 450-650 mm; c) collecting obtained filaments on a moving net, forming a non-woven web; and d) thermocompression bonding the obtained non-woven web using a heating roller.

  • Publication number: 20130045648
Abstract: Provided is an electric outboard motor that includes a drive motor, which is an AC motor, as a drive source. The electric outboard motor includes: an outboard motor main body that includes the drive motor and an inverter that converters a direct current to an alternating current to supply the alternating current to the drive motor; a control/power supply unit that is formed separately from the outboard motor main body and that can supply the direct current to the inverter; and a connection cable that electrically connects the outboard motor main body and the control/power supply unit. The inverter and the drive motor are stacked and arranged in an axial direction of a rotation output axis of the drive motor. Part of the inverter falls within an outline of the drive motor in a view in the axial direction of the rotation output axis of the drive motor.
