Publication number: 20250132106Abstract: A trigger switch TS includes a trigger 1 receiving a press through an operation of an operator to be movable to a deepest position in a press direction. The trigger includes: a base shaft member 11, to which a trigger cap 10 is removably attached; and a limiting member 14, supported by the base shaft member to be operable, and able to limit a movement of the trigger. In the trigger where the trigger cap 10 is attached to the base shaft member, if a first press is received, the movement is limited at a limited position not arriving at the deepest position through the limiting member in a limited state. With removal of the received first press, the limiting member transitions to from the limited state to an unlimited state and, if a second press is received following the removal, it is possible to move to the deepest position.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 6, 2024Publication date: April 24, 2025Applicant: OMRON CorporationInventors: Takumi FUJIHARA, Yohei TSUKANAKA, Kazushi MAETA, Takahiro UEDA, Yusaku YAMASAKI

Publication number: 20250046542Abstract: A trigger switch which includes a trigger, a shaft member, and a housing includes a fixed engagement portion and a movable engagement portion which is operable that are engaged with each other to inhibit a movement of the trigger. The trigger includes a trigger cap and a holding member that holds the trigger cap and is supported by the shaft member. The trigger cap has a restricting portion and may be attached to and detached from the holding member. When the trigger cap is detached, the movable engagement portion moves to an engagement position, and inhibits the movement of the trigger by a pressing operation. When the trigger cap is attached, the movement of the movable engagement portion is restricted by the restricting portion, and the inhibition of the movement of the trigger is released.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 6, 2024Publication date: February 6, 2025Applicant: OMRON CorporationInventors: Takumi FUJIHARA, Kazushi MAETA, Yohei TSUKANAKA, Takahiro UEDA, Kohei SUGIYAMA, Yusaku YAMASAKI

Publication number: 20250014846Abstract: A trigger switch capable of suppressing wear of a sliding electrode part and a device including the trigger switch are provided. A trigger switch includes a front sub-brush and a rear sub-brush that, when a drive part is driven by a movement of a trigger caused by a push-in operation to the trigger, move from an on-position where they contact a front sub-electrode and a rear sub-electrode on a substrate to an off-position where they do not contact the front sub-electrode and the rear sub-electrode. As the front sub-brush and the rear sub-brush move from the on-position to the off-position, a contact between the front sub-brush and the rear sub-brush and the substrate are released.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 6, 2024Publication date: January 9, 2025Applicant: OMRON CorporationInventors: Kohei SUGIYAMA, Kazushi MAETA, Yohei TSUKANAKA, Akihiro ISHII, Daiki ANDO, Takumi FUJIHARA

Patent number: 9419496Abstract: A return mechanism is achieved which requires only a small force for operation. In one aspect of the present invention, a return mechanism (10) includes: a first spring (1) that acts between an operating section (11) and a working section (12); and a second spring (2) that acts between the operating section (11) and a base (13). A direction in which the second spring acts when the operating section (11) is in a first position is not parallel to a direction in which the second spring (2) acts when the operating section (11) is in a second position. A component which, of a force of the second spring, acts in a direction of motion of the operating section (11) is smaller when the operating section (11) is in the second position than in the first position.Type: GrantFiled: May 30, 2014Date of Patent: August 16, 2016Assignee: OMRON CorporationInventors: Yohei Tsukanaka, Satoru Nishimaki, Makoto Wada, Kazuyuki Tsukimori
