  • Patent number: 10687583
Abstract: A shock absorbing member includes: support members spaced apart from each other; and a connection member laid across, and connecting together, the support members. Each of the support members includes: an inner wall capable of elastically deforming by external force in a vertical direction; and a first tube and a second tube each provided to one of an outer wall and the inner wall. While inserted through the first and second tubes of the support members, the connection member is integrally formed in a closed shape with ends of the connection member having no seams.

  • Publication number: 20200100565
Abstract: A sole structure includes a thin plate made of an elastic material having a higher elastic modulus than that of a midsole and stacked on a lower side of the midsole and a shock-absorbing body made of a soft-elastic material and abutting on a lower surface of the plate at least in a hindfoot area. The plate extends from a position corresponding to calcaneus of the foot of a shoe wearer at least to a position corresponding to first interphalangeal joint of the foot in a longitudinal direction, is interposed between the midsole and the shock-absorbing body in the hindfoot area, is interposed between the midsole and an outsole in a forefoot area, and is formed such that at least a portion of the plate serves as an exposed portion in which a lower surface is exposed above a grounding surface in a midfoot area.

  • Patent number: 10568390
Abstract: A shoe outsole structure includes: a first outsole component made of a deformable soft resin material and configured to entirely support a plantar surface spreading from a forefoot to a hindfoot; and a second outsole component integrally formed on top of the first outsole component, made of a hard resin material which has a higher rigidity than the first outsole component, and configured to support a region, of the plantar surface, which is continuous from a rear portion, of the forefoot, located rearward of metatarsophalangeal joints to the hindfoot.

  • Patent number: 10342288
Abstract: An upper structure for a shoe improves foot fit and hold of an upper at the time of turn motion. In an upper 2 that covers a foot of a shoe wearer, an expandable part 20 is provided at a midfoot region M that corresponds to a midfoot portion of the foot, and a non-expandable part 21 is provided at a lateral side region and a medial side region except for the midfoot region M. A boundary portion 22 between the expandable part 20 and the non-expandable part 21 has a substantially flat or flush surface. At the boundary portion 22, respective end portions 20E, 21E of the expandable part 20 and the non-expandable part 21 are sewn together such that a seam does not appear on the boundary surface. The shoe may further include an outsole having at least one groove in a particular triangular region on a bottom surface of the outsole.

  • Patent number: 9452341
Abstract: A running form diagnosis system capable of automatically scoring a running form of a runner is provided. The running form diagnosis system obtains body motion information as to a test subject running on a treadmill, and calculate a running form score of the test subject by applying obtained characteristics to a given operation expression. The operation expression is generated based on correlation between characteristics of a plurality of test runners and comprehensive evaluation given by an expert with respect to the plurality of test runners.

  • Patent number: 9237918
Abstract: An endoscope treatment tool includes a sheath having electric insulation; and an electrode unit provided at a distal end portion of the sheath. The electrode unit includes a rod-shaped electrode that is provided to extend in an axis direction of the sheath and is capable of being arranged in a state where the electrode protrudes from the distal end portion of the sheath and is exposed to the outside; and a chip that is fixed in a state where a distal end portion of the electrode is inserted into a concave portion provided in a proximal end surface so as to extend in the axis direction, has a greater external diameter than the external diameter of the electrode, and is formed from a single electric insulation material. The concave portion is formed with a smaller-diameter portion that allows the distal end portion of the electrode to be inserted thereinto.
