  • Publication number: 20240166868
Abstract: Provided are a gasket for nonaqueous electrolyte battery which is having higher heat resistance and lower cost and better moldability although including a polypropylene resin, and a method for manufacturing the gasket. The gasket comprises, as the main components, a resin obtained by alloying polypropylene and polyphenylene ether and is shaped by injection-molding. The method for manufacturing a gasket being produced by injection molding using one obtained by previously kneading a material containing polypropylene, polyphenylene ether, and a molding aid, etc. with a twin-screw kneading extruder and cooling and solidifying a resin composition discharged from the twin-screw kneading extruder.

  • Patent number: 10826031
Abstract: The present invention provides a gasket for an alkaline battery which enables such a long lifetime that liquid leakage due to carbides of a polyamide resin raw material does not occur, surface wrinkles are hardly generated because of excellent fluidity during molding, and a thin wall portion serving as an explosion-proof safety valve can be normally ruptured until the lifetime of an alkaline battery expires, and a method for manufacturing the same. The gasket for an alkaline battery is formed by injection molding a resin composition, and has a thin wall portion in part. The resin composition is a polyamide 610 resin composition containing a polyamide 610 resin as a main component and a molding aid such as a release agent and a crystal nucleating agent, the polyamide 610 resin having a viscosity number in a range of 80 ml/g or more and 145 ml/g or less.

  • Patent number: 9962871
Abstract: An insert molding method includes: integrally molding a thermoplastic resin with an insert component, by setting the insert component, which is a metal conductor, in a mold; clamping the mold; and injection-filling the thermoplastic resin in a cavity. The insert component is made of copper or a copper alloy. Prior to injection molding, a thin film layer mainly made of a chlorosulfonated polyethylene is formed on a surface of a portion of the insert component to be covered with the thermoplastic resin, and the thin film layer is crosslinked in the mold during injection molding.
