  • Patent number: 8210515
Abstract: A document transport apparatus for transporting a document sheet to a predetermined position that includes a first switchback portion for switching back each of the document sheets of which the front side is read in the document reading portion to transport to the document reading portion and a second switchback portion for switching back each of the document sheets of which both sides are read in the document reading portion to discharge to the sheet discharge tray. The first switchback member provided in the first switchback portion transports two document sheets in mutually different directions and the first switchback member has a first switchback path and a first switchback roller pair each for guiding overlapping two document sheets in the mutually different directions or the same direction. The second switchback member provided in the second switchback portion transports two document sheets in mutually different directions.

  • Publication number: 20110109038
Abstract: A document transport apparatus for transporting a document sheet to a reading portion to read the document is provided with a first switchback portion for switching back the document sheet of which the front side is read in the reading portion to transport again to the document reading portion, and a second switchback path for switching back the document sheet of which both sides are read to discharge to a sheet discharge tray, and executes the document transport operation so that two sequentially transported sheets are transported in each of the first switchback portion and the second switchback portion with the sheets overlapping in reading the both sides of the sheets, and it is thereby possible to shorten the processing time of reading both sides of the sheets and to improve productivity.

  • Patent number: 6545771
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to discriminate received information from one and same originator visually and readily. A CPU detects identification information of the originator in receiving a facsimile. It also selects identification information which coincides with the identification information detected among identification information of originators stored in a printing color table in a RAM in advance and selects a printing color corresponding to the identification information. A signal generating circuit generates an index signal which instructs to print an index mark in a selected printing color. The CPU controls an operation of a color printer so as to print the index mark in a predetermined color based on the index signal together with image information. It is possible to discriminate information transmitted from a predetermined terminal by selecting the recording sheet on which the index mark of the predetermined printing color is printed out of the mixed recording sheets.

  • Publication number: 20020028063
Abstract: A television recording and reproducing system capable of obtaining information on television programs desired to record from an Internet, writing the information on a memory card loaded in a portable information terminal and realizing recording of the timer reserved programs by only inserting the memory card in a television program recording device. A processing means of the information terminal writes the starting and ending times of each program and the channel in an index area on a memory card inserted in the terminal and, then, requests the user to confirm the correctness of settings. The user removes the memory card from the information terminal and inserts it into a television program recording device which in turn will be automatically powered ON at the start time and records the program.

  • Patent number: 6104057
Abstract: An electrically alterable non-volatile memory device is disclosed. In the device architecture of the memory device, control gates are formed, divided corresponding to the blocks and interconnected independently within each block, to further be connected to a metal gate line through block select MOS transistors which are formed on a semiconductor substrate between the blocks. All gate electrodes of the block select MOS transistors which are connected to the control gates interconnected as above within each block are further connected each other. These block select transistors can be controlled by applying erase block signals such as, EBS0, EBS1 and so on, to respective transistors. In addition, the control gates are further connected to a decoder such that some of these control gates may be selected through metal control gate lines.

  • Patent number: 5737688
Abstract: The purpose of the invention is to provide a radio-pager that allows a user to set any desired call-sign therein and method of radio-paging that not only conducts person-to-person communication but easily realizes transmission from one person to a plurality (N) of persons such as simultaneous transmission of the same message or commercial massage to a number of pagers. The pager receives radio waves by an antenna, demodulates the received signal into digital data by a radio demodulator and transfers the data to a digital circuit that corrects the data for code transmission error caused by affection of fading. A CPU of the pager examines the correctly reproduced data and extracts a call-sign from the data stream. The CPU 25 reads a call-sign stored in a RAM and examines whether the extracted call-sign corrsponds to the stored call-sign. The pager drives an electronic speaker when the CPU detects that both call-signs are identiacal with each other.

  • Patent number: 5428880
Abstract: A process for manufacturing a vehicle body for automobiles in which at a welding step, a vehicle body and plate-like parts to be mounted onto the vehicle body, such as a bonnet, a trunk lid, fenders and doors, are separately fabricated, and at a painting step, they are separately passed through the same painting step, or separately passed through stages excluding a topcoating and a final drying, following which they are separately subjected to the same topcoating and final drying treatments. At an assembling step, the plate-like parts which have been subjected to fitting-out are assembled onto the vehicle body after completion of fitting-out or replenishment of grease and oils for the vehicle body.
