    Abstract: A semiconductor memory device includes bit lines and word lines arranged lengthwise and breadthwise, memory cells 1 capable of reading out and writing in, MOS transistors Q1 and Q2 for pre-charge, MOS transistors Q3 for short-circuiting, and transistors Q4 and Q5 for setting voltage level. The bit lines are provided two pieces at each bit. Between the MOS transistors Q1, Q2 for pre-charge and the bit lines driving power supply terminal Vcc, three pieces of the fuses F1-F3 are connected at each column. When the leak defect occurs to the bit lines, all of the fuses F1-F3 connected to the bit lines are cut. Further, a semiconductor memory device includes a plurality of section regions, a redundancy circuit RD1 which replaces a defective cell at each section region, a redundancy circuit RD2 which replaces the defective cell at each row address. The section regions are provided at each address in the column direction. In each section region, cell ground power supply lines Vss are formed circularly.

    Abstract: A grease composition for constant velocity joints comprising: (a) a base oil; (b) a diurea thickener of the formula (1):R.sup.1 NH--CO--NH--C.sub.6 H.sub.4 -p-CH.sub.2 --C.sub.6 H.sub.4 -p-NH--CO--NHR.sup.2wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may be the same or different and represent aryl groups having 6 or 7 carbon atoms or cyclohexyl groups; (c) a molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamate; (d) molybdenum disulfide; (e) at least one extreme pressure agent selected from the group consisting of zinc dithiophosphates, and sulfur-nitrogen extreme pressure agents; and (f) a phosphorus-free sulfur extreme pressure agent. The grease composition has low coefficient of friction, good performance for reducing induced thrust and high durability.

    Abstract: A grease composition comprising a base oil containing not less than 10% by weight of an ester oil based on the total base oil and having a kinematic viscosity of 50 to 200 mm.sup.2 /sec at 40.degree. C. and 15 to 35% by weight, based on the total grease composition, of a diurea compound represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.2 represents an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 15 carbon atoms; and R.sub.1 and R.sub.3, which may be the same or different, each represent an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms or an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 8 to 20 carbon atoms, the proportion of the aromatic hydrocarbon groups in the total of R.sub.1 and R.sub.3 being 50 to 100 mol %. When applied to outer race rotating bearings, the grease composition is excellent in flaking resistance, leak resistance, and low noise properties and prevents premature seizing under high temperature and high speed conditions.

    Abstract: A polarization plane switch comprising a Faraday rotator made of an iron-containing garnet single-crystal film and magnetic field applying devices capable of reversing a magnetic field to be applied to the Faraday rotator. The polarization plane switch has a structure in which magnetization of part of the Faraday rotator is unsaturated and that of the remaining portion of it is saturated when a magnetic field is applied to the Faraday rotator by the magnetic field applying device, and a light beam passes through the magnetically saturated portion almost vertically to the film surface. As the above Faraday rotator, it is the most preferable to use a Faraday rotator made of Bi-substituted iron garnet single crystal formed by liquid-phase epitaxy and having a compensation temperature, and thermally treated under the top condition at a temperature between 1,120.degree. and 1,180.degree. C. for 7 hours or less.

    Abstract: A grease composition for high-temperature, high-speed and high-load bearings comprises (i) a lubricating base oil composed of an alkyldiphenyl ether lubricant as an essential ingredient and having a kinematic viscosity of 90-160 cSt at 40.degree. C., and (ii) 22-30 wt. %, based on the grease composition, of a diurea compound as a thickener. The diurea compound is represented by the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.2 means an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6-15 carbon atoms, R.sub.1 and R.sub.3 denote an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6-12 carbon atoms or a linear alkyl group having 8-20 carbon atoms, and the proportion of aromatic hydrocarbon groups in R.sub.1 and R.sub.3 is 70-95 mole %. The NLGI thickness grade of said composition is in a range of from No. 1 to No. 3.

    Abstract: A chair provided with a backrest for use in offices, etc., comprising an inner shell (2) and an outer shell (3). Conventional chairs of this type have a problem that there is little freedom in design with respect to strength and flexibility since only the inner shell serves as a structural member. An object of this chair is to increase the freedom. To this end, in the chair of this invention, the outer shell (3) as well as the inner shell (2) are formed as an integral body L-shaped in side view and comprising a seat portion (31) and a backrest portion (32), so that a three-dimensional shell structure is formed. In this chair, various measures are taken to solve the problem caused by the outer shell which is formed into an integral body. First, a fixed shell (6) is adopted for preventing a gap from being formed. Also, to obtain a required resiliency the shells (2, 3) are of such a construction as to allow a positional shift between the shells, and the inner shell (2) is supported by two brackets (118, 119).

Hydraulic circuits associated with the power cylinders are controlled such that while the wheels are steered at the driver's seat, they cannot be steered at the craneman's seat. Such control of the hydraulic circuits occurs in response to actuation of a key switch. A four-wheel steering mode for steering the front and rear wheels at the same time is prevened from replacing a two-wheel steering mode for steering front wheels only, unless the vehicle runs at low speeds.
