  • Publication number: 20130177761
Abstract: A surface protective film includes a polyolefin base material layer and an adhesive layer. The adhesive layer has hardness (Martens hardness) in a range of 1 N/mm2 to 2.5 N/mm2 and loop tack strength in a range of 0.02 N/25 mm to 0.1 N/25 mm. Accordingly, the surface protective film, even in a form of a rolled product, is easily wound off from a surface of the base material, and can obtain a sufficient adhesive strength to an adherend (e.g., a prism sheet) having a projection on its surface.

  • Publication number: 20120295105
Abstract: A surface protective film includes a base layer having polyolefin as a main component and an adhesion layer. The surface protective film and a base film for the surface protective film are thermally treated at a temperature from 40 degrees C. to 100 degrees C. for 1 second to 120 seconds and a size change ratio at which each of the surface protective film and the base film changes in size after being heated at 90 degrees C. for one hour falls within ±0.50% in each of MD (a machine direction) and TD (a traverse direction). Generation of curling is prevented and a surface of a target member is protected without damaging properties or performance of the target member.
