  • Publication number: 20220261641
Abstract: A conversion device converts a given input vector to a feature vector by a conversion model. In order to learn the conversion model, a partitioner randomly partitions training vectors into groups. On the other hand, a first classifier classifies feature vectors that are obtained by converting the training vectors with the conversion model, into any one of the groups 12876 by a first classification model. Moreover, a first learner learns the conversion model and the first classification model of first teacher data including the training vectors and the groups into which the training vectors are respectively partitioned.

  • Patent number: 11263494
Abstract: A classification device for classifying targets using a neural network on the basis of a target image that captures each target and at least one attribute parameter associated with the target. The classification device is equipped with a receiver, a neural network unit, and a classifier. The receiver receives a target image that captures a target and at least one attribute parameter associated with the target. The classifier classifies targets using the neural network unit. In the neural network unit, a convolution operator convolves individual elements of a provided feature map and the received at least one attribute parameter.

  • Patent number: 10085896
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods for manufacturing absorbent articles, and in particular, methods for making pre-fastened refastenable pant diapers. Aspects of the methods according to the present disclosure relate to the fabrication of refastenable pant diapers wherein discrete chassis are advanced in a machine direction such that the lateral axis is parallel with the machine direction. First side panels are then refastenably connected with the first waist region, and second side panels are permanently connected the second waist regions of the discrete chassis. The chassis are connected with discrete lengths of side panel material and/or connection zone material. The chassis are then folded, and the first and second side panels are subsequently bonded together. The article is then subjected to knife cut at or adjacent the bonded regions to create discrete, pre-fastened refastenable pant diapers.

First side panels are then refastenably connected with the first waist region, and second side panels are permanently connected the second waist regions of the discrete chassis. The methods disclosed herein connect chassis with discrete lengths of side panel material and/or connection zone material, and forms a continuous web of articles formed by intermittently spaced chassis and intermittently spaced side panels bridging the gap between the intermittently spaced chassis. The chassis are then folded in the cross direction parallel to a lateral centerline and the first and second side panels are subsequently bonded together. The article is then subjected to knife cut adjacent the bonded regions to create discrete, pre-fastened refastenable pant diapers.
