  • Publication number: 20240158678
Abstract: Provided is a hot-melt adhesive composition improving workability and productivity, and having excellent adhesion to olefin substrates, such as polypropylene, and also excellent adhesion to highly polar substrates, such as PVC and PET, and further having excellent mechanical properties. Provided is a hot-melt adhesive composition comprising an acid-modified polyolefin and a copolymerized polyester, and satisfying the following (1) to (5): (1) the copolymerized polyester comprises a dicarboxylic acid component and a glycol component, and has a melting point (T1), as determined by a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), in the range of 80 to 150° C.; (2) the acid-modified polyolefin has a melting point (T2), as determined by a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), in the range of 60 to 150° C.; (3) |T1?T2|?40° C.; (4) when an acid value of the acid-modified polyolefin is defined as AV (eq/ton), and a hydroxy value of the copolymerized polyester is defined as OHV (eq/ton), 0.5?AV/OHV?4.

  • Patent number: 5253039
Abstract: In the size measurement of steel sections, a pair of two-dimensional rangefinders and a pair of one-dimensional rangefinders are arranged so as to sandwich a steel section consisting of a pair of flange portions and a web portion in a widthwise direction of the flange portion and face to each other, whereby a vertical distance ranging from the two-dimensional rangefinder to the flange portion and a vertical distance ranging from the one-dimensional rangefinder to the web portion are measured, respectively to calculate a deviation at center, a flange width and a web thickness from the above measured values. In this case, a laser rangefinder is used as each of the two-dimensional rangefinder and one-dimensional rangefinder.

  • Patent number: 5031435
Abstract: Adjustable width rolls are preferably used for rolling, for example, insides of H-beams of various sizes without exchanging horizontal rolls of a rolling mill. Each of the adjustable width rolls includes a roll shaft rotatably and axially movably supported relative to the rolling mill, and axially adjustable sleeve roll fixed to the roll shaft, and an axially stationary sleeve roll mounted on the roll shaft to be axially slidable but against rotatable relatively to the roll shaft. The adjustable width roll further includes an axially adjustable roll fixedly supported by the axially adjustable sleeve roll to form substantially one half of a rolling barrel of the adjustable width roll, an axially stationary roll fixedly supported by the axially stationary sleeve roll to form substantially the remaining half of the rolling barrel of the adjustable width roll, and a driving mechanism for driving the roll shaft in axial directions of the roll shaft.

  • Patent number: 5009094
Abstract: H-shaped steel products having substantially a constant web height are efficiently manufactured from workpieces after breakdown rolling by using a particular universal rolling mill comprising a pair of width variable horizontal rolls and a pair of vertical rolls in rough universal rolling and/or finish universal rolling stages without arrangement of rolls in the same size series having different flange thicknesses.
