  • Publication number: 20140167930
Abstract: A control radio communication system includes a relay station and a child station, each incorporating a radio communication unit further including a receiver and a transmitter. The receiver detects whether or a signal transmitted from the upper layer corresponds to an emergency command. The signal not corresponding to the emergency command is converted into an internal code while the signal corresponding to the emergency command is converted into a High/Low signal to be output via the signal terminal of GPIO. The transmitter of a relay station produces a compacted packet corresponding to the emergency command with a data length shorter than the data length of a packet corresponding to a general command, thus transmitting the compacted packet to the lower layer via radio. Alternatively, the transmitter of a child station produces a packet corresponding to the emergency command, thus transmitting the packet to the lower layer via radio.

  • Patent number: 8677177
Abstract: An apparatus and method for automatically recovering a hardware when the hardware is not accessible from the processing unit. The hardware is recovered via a path different from a path which the processing unit uses when the processing unit fails to access to the hardware via the path initially used.

  • Patent number: 8312257
Abstract: A resource assignment system includes a driver on an option ROM mounted on a PCI device, to perform hardware resources assignment under a Pre-Boot environment; and an OS driver to perform the hardware resource assignment under an OS environment. A BIOS includes a resource management table showing a range of an I/O space to be assigned to a bridge device in a layer higher than that of the PCI device which requests the I/O space; and an ACPI table used to notify a hardware configuration and data to use an extended I/O space to the OS. The resource management table includes a Pre-Boot table in which assignment of a first granularity to a Legacy-I/O space for a Pre-Boot environment is defined; and an OS table in which assignment of a second granularity to the extended I/O space for an OS environment is defined.

  • Patent number: 8001368
Abstract: A generator generates configuration information of a virtual hardware unit based on configuration information in a PCIBOX. The generator generates recognition information for recognizing the virtual PCIBOX as a PCIBOX that is connected with a slot from the configuration information of the virtual PCIBOX. When PCIBOX is connected with the slot, the generator overwrites the configuration information in PCIBOX with the configuration information of the virtual PCIBOX.

  • Publication number: 20100241840
Abstract: A resource assignment system includes a driver on an option ROM mounted on a PCI (Peripheral Components Interconnect) device, arranged on a memory by a BIOS (Basic Input/Output System), and configured to perform hardware resources assignment under a Pre-Boot environment; and an OS driver arranged on the memory by the BIOS, and configured to perform the hardware resource assignment under an OS environment. The BIOS includes a resource management table which shows a range of an I/O space to be assigned to a bridge device in a layer higher than that of the PCI device which requests the I/O space; and an ACPI table which is used to notify a hardware configuration and data to use an extended I/O space to the OS.
