  • Publication number: 20160318394
Abstract: A pressing face of an acceleration pedal, which is formed to slant such that a front portion thereof is positioned at a higher level than a rear portion thereof, is located in front of a pressing face of a brake pedal, which is formed to slant such that a front portion thereof is positioned at a higher level than a rear portion thereof. A slant angle of the pressing face of the acceleration pedal relative to a horizontal face is different from a slant angle of the pressing face of the brake pedal relative to the horizontal face in a side view. Accordingly, a lower structure of a driver's compartment which can improve the operation of the acceleration and brake pedals can be provided.

  • Patent number: 8616614
Abstract: An armrest structure for a vehicle of the present invention comprises a first armrest to support an elbow of one of arms of a passenger seated in a seat and a second armrest to support an elbow of the other arm of the passenger. A horizontal distance W1 between a vertically-extending seat center line of the seat and an elbow's support position at the first armrest is greater than a horizontal distance W2 between the vertically-extending seat center line and an elbow's support position at the second armrest, and a height H1 of the elbow's support position at the first armrest is greater than a height H2 of the elbow's support position at the second armrest. Accordingly, the passenger's elbows can be properly supported at the armrests on both sides, in a seat width direction, of the seat.

  • Publication number: 20110233967
Abstract: In a vehicle in which a driver's seat is provided on a floor panel and an operational pedal, such as a brake pedal, is provided in front of the driver's seat, a slant floor portion is provided in an area of the floor panel where a heel of a driver pressing the operational pedal is placed. This slant floor portion slants with a specified slant degree in such a manner that its front portion is positioned at a higher level than its rear portion. An interference avoidance portion which is comprised of a horizontal face portion is provided in front of the slant floor portion. This interference avoidance portion has a slant degree which is smaller than the specified slant degree of the slant floor portion so as to avoid interference with the heel of the driver's foot.
