A destination information storing section is configured to store items of registered destination information. Each item of registered destination information including a right-of-use associated with a registered user. An information extracting section is configured to extract an item of registered destination information from the destination information storing section in response to a login user's command. The extracted item of registered destination information is associated with the login user's right-of-use. A display controller is configured to display the extracted item of registered destination information to the login user.

Abstract: An image formation apparatus include a first transmission section, a fist reception section, and a printing section. The first transmission section sends first print setting information to an external device according to a request from the external device. The first reception section receives second print setting information from the external device, the second print setting information being obtained by changing the first print setting information. The printing section, upon receiving print data from the external device, processes the print data based on the second print setting information.

Abstract: When encryption processing means is decided in encryption print communication which is made between a PC and a printer, a transmission/reception control unit of a printer receives information of encryption processing means from the PC and stores into a list storing unit of a RAM. A list of encryption processing means which are used in the printer is read out from a flash memory. An upper apparatus encryption processing means list is compared with the encryption processing means list. If the coincident encryption processing means exists, it is decided that this means is used for communication and the PC is notified of it. Since the PC transmits the print data encrypted by the notified encryption processing means to the control unit, the printing is executed on the basis of the decrypted print data.

Abstract: A relay communication device capable of simplifying a method for designating a destination of relay transmission requesting mail to another relay communication device. A CPU reads Subject information stored in a data memory, analyzes the subject information, compares it with an identifying character for relay stored in a relay identification character storing section and judges whether or not a character matching any one of the identifying characters for relay exists in the subject information. If a matched character exists, E-mail is judged to be a relay transmission request. Then, password information is extracted from the subject information and the extracted information is compared with a password being stored in advance in the password information storing section. If the password exists in the subject information and if the existing password matches a password stored in a password storing section, the relay transmission request is implemented.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for displaying hierarchical structures. The method of the present invention can display graphically hierarchical structures of nodes from the nodes that are branch points, relay points or end points corresponding to apparatuses or functions and the connection relationships between the nodes. The display method of the present invention has the steps of arranging the nodes of the same layer subordinate to the same node on the same ellipse, arranging the subordinate ellipse of the same layer concentrically on an ellipse larger than the ellipse of the upper layer, and displaying the arranged hierarchical structure of nodes.
