  • Publication number: 20150346666
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an operation panel including a display section that displays buttons, a touch panel section, and piezoelectric elements. The image forming apparatus also includes a vibration control section and a determination section. The vibration control section outputs a drive signal to the piezoelectric elements that causes vibration of the piezoelectric elements and the touch panel section. The determination section determines for each maintenance target whether the maintenance target is an inspection target that preferably undergoes maintenance within a preset period of a current time. Upon operation of a button while no inspection target is present, the vibration control section causes the touch panel and the piezoelectric elements to vibrate under a normal vibration condition.

  • Patent number: 8477944
Abstract: An identifier generator generates a second identifier containing information on contents. The second identifier is different from a first identifier used to grant a connection request sent from a terminal apparatus. A beacon transmitter transmits the second identifier, generated by the identifier generator, as a beacon. A connection processing unit permits the connection request by the first identifier stored beforehand in the terminal apparatus, and rejects the connection request by the second identifier. A base station apparatus generates the first identifier containing address information used to access a server apparatus, as an identifier used to permit a connection request sent from the terminal apparatus. The base station apparatus transmits, as beacons, a first identifier and a second identifier used to identify the base station itself.

  • Publication number: 20090213777
Abstract: A content receiver receives content data distributed repeatedly from a distribution station. The content data are stored in a content storage. A reproduction processing unit sequentially reproduces parts of the content data stored in the storage corresponding to content data received by the content receiver. A content management unit monitors the degree of completion of the content data stored. When the monitored degree of completion becomes a preset level or above, a connection processing unit disconnects connection to the distribution station. After the connection has been disconnected, an identifier receiver receives reproduction information informed from the distribution station. The reproduction processing unit reproduces the content data according to the reproduction information.
