  • Patent number: 6293608
Abstract: An assembly is provided including a front rail, a rear rail, a pair of side rails and a plurality of corner pieces. A pair of self-adjusting devices interconnect the two side rails and the rear rail. Each self-adjusting device includes a stop coupled to a side rail, a biasing device disposed between the stop and a corner piece, and an interconnecting plate fixedly coupled to the side rail and slidably coupled to the corner piece for accommodating relative movement therebetween. According to one aspect of the present invention, the interconnecting plate is coupled to the stop. According to another aspect of the present invention, the biasing device is a coil spring. According to still another aspect of the present invention, the interconnecting plate includes a slot for accommodating sliding movement of a fastener passing through the interconnecting plate and coupling the interconnecting plate to the corner piece.

  • Patent number: 5217120
Abstract: An apparatus for automatically loading and unloading sleeves for an IC tester and then selectively reloading the sleeves after testing, which is controlled by a conventional microprocessor using sensor input and which automatically transports the IC chip containing sleeves randomly contained in a hopper to a sorter section in a correct posture by means of a timing belt having sleeve holders, to feed the chips in the sorter section, to the tester by a first transfer block, and then automatically transfer empty sleeves from an ejector section having a cam plate and an ejector through a dropping section having a pair of guide rails to an unloader section having a second transfer block, a sleeve holder, a sensor and a pushing plate, thereby permitting the sleeves to be refilled with the tester and sorted IC chips and stored in a storage box.

  • Patent number: 3956514
Abstract: Wet spun proteinaceous filaments are prepared from pulverized, functional defatted leguminous materials having a protein content of about 45 to about 55 percent, by forming an aqueous slurry thereof to extract proteins and carbohydrates, precipitating the protein onto and into the insoluble portion of the leguminous material, separating the solids from the liquid portion of the slurry, forming an aqueous alkaline spinning dope with the separated solids and forcing the spinning dope through a spinneret into an acid and salt coagulating bath to form proteinaceous filaments.
