The output pad group is formed on a first end of the base film. The output pad group includes a plurality of output blocks having a plurality of output pads, wherein the plurality of output pads in an output block have substantially the same width as each other. The widths of the output pads from one output block to another output block are different from each other.

Abstract: An optical sheet includes a first plane, a second plane facing the first plane and a plurality of optical patterns. The optical patterns are formed on the second plane along a plurality of columns. An optical pattern includes a plurality of convex light-condensing portions. End portions of the light-condensing portions are connected to each other continuously and form crests and troughs. The optical patterns disposed in adjacent columns share a common side.

Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for dynamically managing hierarchical flows that more efficiently process packet traffic while maintaining compatibility with an existing packet data network in transferring both circuit traffic and packet traffic in a packet switched network. The method for dynamically managing hierarchical flows includes: receiving data packets, classifying the data packets according to attributes of the received data packets, and producing first flows; determining whether traffic of each of the first flows exceeds a predetermined bandwidth limit, and performing a packet drop process or producing second flows for first flows that exceed the bandwidth limit, according to a flow-specific policy; and performing second flow processing on the second flows according to a second flow policy. Only flows exceeding the bandwidth limit or causing congestion are hierarchically divided for management. This makes it possible to finely manage the flows without complex operations.

Abstract: A light-condensing member includes a base plate, a main light-condensing pattern formed on the base plate, and a sub light-condensing pattern formed on the main light-condensing pattern. The main light-condensing pattern includes a plurality of main prisms extended in a first direction. A cross section of a main prism taken along a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction has a substantially triangular shape. The sub light-condensing pattern includes a plurality of sub prisms formed on the main prisms and extended in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction. A cross section of a sub prism taken along the first direction has a substantially triangular shape. Since light is condensed simultaneously in both a horizontal direction and a vertical direction through one light-condensing member, manufacturing costs and the thickness of backlight assembly are reduced.

Abstract: Provided is a method for transmitting a burst in an optical burst switching system, in which when a burst is generated at an originating node, a burst control packet is transmitted to a destination node by way of a plurality of nodes and then a data burst is transmitted after a pre-allocated offset time. The method includes the steps of obtaining an arrival time of data bursts that survive competition to occupy an output channel among data bursts transmitted to the next node by way of the current node using offset time information in burst control packets for the survived data bursts, checking whether an empty void is present between the survived data bursts by using the obtained arrival time of the survived data bursts, and generating a new data burst originating from the current node, inserting the newly generated data burst into the checked empty void, and transmitting to the next node. This method can improve channel utilization and maximize performance of the optical burst switching system.

A display device includes light sources, an optical module and a display panel. Thus, display quality of the display device may be enhanced.

Abstract: A bulk check acceptor includes: a bundle receiving module for drawing a bundle of checks into an interior of the acceptor when an insertion hole shutter is open, and for transferring the checks on a leaf-by-leaf basis; an automatic alignment module for aligning and transferring the checks transferred on a leaf-by-leaf basis by the bundle receiving module; a recognition module for recognizing information on the checks automatically aligned and transferred by the automatic alignment module; an escrow module for escrowing the checks whose information has been recognized; a print module for endorsing a check which is permitted to be accepted; a rejecting module for discharging a rejected check through the bundle receiving module; and a storage box module for receiving the endorsed check.

The base includes a front surface and a rear surface facing the front surface. The prism mountains are integrally formed with the base on the rear surface of the base. At least one prism mountain includes a plurality of light incidence surfaces and a reflective surface. The light incidence surfaces receive light. The reflective surface is adjacent to one of the light incidence surfaces to reflect the light. A vertical angle of the prism mountains formed between the light incidence surface adjacent to the reflective surface and the reflective surface, is in a range of about 70° to about 100°.

Abstract: Provided are a time synchronization method allowing a fixed time delay and a bridge that is interposed between a master and a slave, according to the method. In the bridge, a predetermined time after the synchronization packet is set as an output time of the synchronization packet and the synchronization packet is output at the output time. Accordingly, it is possible to delay synchronization packets in the bridge for the same time, thereby increasing the time synchronization precision.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is wireless home LAN system using multiple antennas, and a wireless access point (AP) apparatus in a communication system for providing a plurality of terminals contained in a closed specific area with a wireless access service that includes a plurality of wireless modules arranged in the closed specific area at intervals of a predetermined distance, that are selectively activated, and a control module connected to the wireless modules by wire, for controlling communication performed in the area of the terminals and connection to an external network using the activated wireless modules. The apparatus selectively activates antennas in only a specific area requesting a communication service using a single controller and a plurality of antennas connected to the controller, such that it can solve performance anomalies and inter-cell frequency interference problems. Also, the apparatus controls propagation beams to concentrate on a minimum area, resulting in improved security.

Abstract: A method quickly resuming a downlink service in a hard handover in a cellular mobile communication system. To provide the fast downlink service to an MS during a hard handover from an OBS to an NBS, the NBS receives handover user information from the OBS, and generates an MS temporary ID using the handover user information to identify the MS. If user data is generated for the MS before a connection is established for traffic transmission between the MS and the NBS, the NBS transmits the user data to the MS on an HCCH using the MS temporary ID.

Abstract: A flexible printed circuit film includes a film including a first region of an adhesion region and a second region outside of the adhesion region, a signal wire formed on the second region, and reinforcement wiring connected to the signal wire and formed on the first region and the second region. The reinforcement wiring includes a bent portion having a plurality of inner corners and a plurality of outer corners, and the inner corners of the reinforcement wiring are spaced apart from a boundary between the first region and the second region. Accordingly, even though an external force is applied to the flexible printed circuit film, the reinforcement wiring may be prevented from being easily damaged.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for protecting and restoring a link in an OBS network. The method includes a step of transmitting/receiving a liveness-confirming message for confirming liveness of the link between an up-node and a down-node respectively connected to both ends of the link at a predetermined message transmission period, to judge whether a fault is generated on the link, a step in which the up-node and down-node respectively update link information when it is judged that the link fault is not generated, and a step of restoring the link having the fault using predetermined restoration channel information based on an offered load measured when the link is in a normal state when it is judged that the link fault is generated. Accordingly, a link having a problem can be effectively protected and restored in the OBS network.
