Abstract: A cell-testing apparatus for testing one or more cells includes a cell-test enclosure that includes at least one internal vent. The cell-testing apparatus also includes an external housing that contains the cell-test enclosure and that includes at least one exhaust vent that vents to outside the external housing. During testing, the cell-test enclosure is located within the external housing so as to define at least one explosion-gas pathway from the at least one internal vent to the at least one exhaust vent. In some embodiments, the venting axis of the internal vent(s) is perpendicular to the venting axis of the exhaust vent(s). In some embodiments, the vents each comprise one or more fenestrated plates. In some embodiments, the cell-test enclosure is a drawer-type enclosure including a cabinet and a drawer that is designed and configured to receive a battery cell for testing.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for eddy current thermography defect reconstruction based on electrical impedance tomography, first, obtaining a thermal reference image of temperature change with time by acquiring a thermogram sequence S of the specimen in the process of heating and fitting a curve for pixels of each location of the thermogram sequence S, then, creating a current matrix and a magnetic potential matrix, and calculating the satisfied conductivity distribution through iterations, so as a reconstructed image is obtained, then taking the low conductivity area of the reconstructed image as the defect profile, thus the defect profile is identified and quantified.

Abstract: In some embodiments, temperature-testing apparatuses that each include a pair of spaced-apart pressure plates, a testing plate, and a pressure fixture. The testing plate may comprise a working face with a plurality of recesses that confronts a face of the battery cell being tested, a temperature sensor in each one of the plurality of recesses, and electronic circuitry in operative communication with each of the temperature sensors. In some embodiments, the pressure fixture is a constant-pressure mechanism. In some embodiments, the pressure fixture is a constant-gap pressure mechanism. Systems containing such temperature-testing apparatuses and methods of testing with such temperature-testing apparatuses are also disclosed.

Abstract: In some embodiments, battery-cell testing apparatuses that each include at least one cell slot for receiving a corresponding battery cell along an insertion axis in a direction parallel to the width axis of the cell, a positive electrical contact, and a negative electrical contact. The positive and negative electrical contacts may be located and configured so that as the battery cell is inserted into the cell slot, a positive electrical tab of the cell makes physical contact with the positive electrical contact and a negative electrical tab of the cell makes physical contact with the negative electrical contact. In some embodiments, the cell slot further comprises at least one cell receiver that slidingly receives the battery cell and holds the battery cell during testing. In some embodiments, each of the positive and negative electrical contacts comprises a tab receiver.

Abstract: Testing devices for testing target test devices each composed of one or more battery cells, such as battery cells and battery packs. In some embodiments, a testing device may be considered self-contained in that it may include sufficient onboard systems and features to allow the testing device to conduct testing on one or more target test devices with minimal inputs, such as electrical power, higher-level instructions, and/or control inputs. In some embodiments, a testing device may include an explosion- and/or fire-proof or -resistant enclosure. In some embodiments, components of a testing device may be modularized for easy reconfiguring for different testing and/or different target test devices. In some embodiments, a plurality of testing devices can be controlled by a central testing controller. Related methods and systems are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for managing network devices, apparatus, and computer readable storage medium are disclosed. The method is applied to a management apparatus. After receiving a login request from a client device, the management apparatus first determines whether the requesting user account is in the stored user account list, and then determines whether the client device is a trusted client and whether it can pass an automatic log-in verification process. The management apparatus enables a network device management function only for a requesting user account that is trusted and which passes the automatic log-in verification process. After the user logs in to the management apparatus, subsequent verification is required to enable management of the actual network device, improving the security of other network devices through the disclosed management apparatus.
