Abstract: An icemaking compartment is provided in the refrigerator compartment of a bottom mount refrigerator. An icemaker is within the icemaking compartment. A cold air duct supplies cold air from the freezer compartment to the icemaker. The cold air duct is formed in the rear wall of the refrigerator. A fan controls the flow of air through the cold air duct. A return air duct is provided to direct a portion of the air from the icemaker back to the freezer compartment. An air vent in the icemaker directs another portion of air into the refrigerator compartment.

Abstract: A system and method for allocating power resources among host computers in a cluster uses lower and upper bounds with respect to a power budget to be distributed to each of the hosts. Each host is allocated a portion of the cluster power capacity. Any excess amount of the capacity is then allocated to the hosts based at least partly on the lower bound (reserve capacity) and the upper bound (host power limit) of each of the clients.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method, kit and primers for detecting fetal deafness pathogenic gene mutations. The method of the invention comprises: (a) designing primers according to the pre-determined mutation loci of deafness pathogenic genes; (b) extracting plasma DNAs in a pregnant woman; (c) connecting the extracted plasma DNAs with pre-amplification linkers to obtain connected products; (d) PCR pre-amplifying the connected product to obtain pre-amplified products; (e) cyclizing the pre-amplified products to obtain cyclised DNAs; (f) PCR amplifying the cyclised DNAs using the designed primers to obtain amplified products; and (g) high throughput sequencing the amplified products and analyzing the mutations of the fetal deafness pathogenic genes. The invention can effectively determine whether the pre-determined loci on deafness pathogenic genes have been mutated as well as the mutation type.

Abstract: An apparatus and method to discriminate cardiac events by sensing atrial and ventricular depolarizations having associated refractory periods thereafter. A fast ventricular rate is detected in response to the sensed ventricular depolarizations. Responsive to detecting the fast ventricular rate, at least one stimulus pulse is delivered to atrial tissue within the associated refractory period of the ventricle but outside of an associated refractory period of the stimulated atrial tissue. A ventricular response to the atrial tissue stimulus pulse is determined, and the cardiac event is discriminated based on the ventricular response to the atrial tissue stimulus pulse.

By using a labyrinth seal to replace the overlapping sealing in the prior art, the bottom door device and the hopper car provided by the present application can still meet the sealing requirement on the premise that the two bottom door plates can be closed without complying with any specific order, thereby optimizing the structure of the bottom door device in the prior art.

The implantable medical device can be configured to be surgically implanted in a patient with a delivery opening at or near a renal capsule of a kidney of the patient. Suitable drugs for local delivery to a kidney can include diuretics, aldosterone antagonists, vasodilators, renin inhibitors, and combinations thereof. In some embodiments, local drug delivery to a kidney can be used to treat hypertension, heart failure, or another condition associated with renal activity.
