    Abstract: A spindle motor control circuit for an optical recording and regenerating system is disclosed. The spindle motor control circuit adjusts the gains in response to the change of the position of the pickup for controlling the speed of the spindle motor to maintain the pickup at a constant line velocity regardless of the positions of the pickup so that the angular velocity of the spindle motor can have a constant line velocity during the pickup moves by driving the sled motor.
