    Abstract: A one-molding frame for a combination printer has a paper feed module frame, a print module frame, a scan module frame, all being integrally formed in a base frame. The one-molding frame is used in an inkjet combination printer having a pickup roller to separate stacked paper sheet by sheet and feed the separated paper, an inkjet head unit to form an image on paper fed from the pickup roller, and a scan part to read a document. The one-molding frame has a base frame with a conveyance path for the paper formed therein, a paper feed part protruding from one end of an upper surface of the base frame to define a stacker on which plural sheets of paper are stacked, and the paper feed part on which the pickup roller is disposed.

The apparatus includes a carriage having a supporting frame movably supported by a guide rail, and a receptacle connected to the supporting frame, an ink cartridge removable from the receptacle, the ink cartridge having a latching protrusion formed at an upper end thereof, a latching unit disposed at the supporting frame, being compressible and de-compressible to an original form, the latching unit in a compressed state latching the latching protrusion of the ink cartridge and the latching unit in a de-compressed state, is released from the latching protrusion, and a moving unit having a joint portion which pivots at a predetermined angle. The moving unit is pivotally disposed at the supporting frame, the moving unit to pivot in a first direction to completely mount the ink cartridge from a temporary mounting position in the receptacle and to compress the latching unit.

    Abstract: Method for forming a Schottky contact in a semiconductor device includes a step of preparing an n type GaN group compound semiconductor layer, such as AlxGa1-xN and InxGa1-xN. At least one metal layer including a ruthenium component layer is formed on the n type GaN group compound semiconductor layer as a rectifying junction metal. The rectifying junction metal may be used as a gate of a field effect transistor, or an electrode of a Schottky diode. The ruthenium oxide has a low cost, is stable to heat and chemical, and has excellent electric characteristics. The application of the ruthenium oxide to the rectifying junction metal enhances performances, such as UV ray detection, of electronic devices and optical devices operable at an elevated temperature.

    Abstract: A SAW (surface acoustic wave) filter manufactured by using a GaN piezoelectric thin film, and a manufacturing method therefor, are disclosed. The SAW filter of a high frequency band includes an &agr;-Al2O3 single crystal substrate. A GaN piezoelectric single crystal thin film of [0001] direction is formed to a thickness of 0.3-300 &mgr;m on the substrate, and an IDT electrode pattern is formed on the GaN piezoelectric single crystal thin film. The method for manufacturing a SAW filter of a high frequency band includes the following steps. An &agr;-Al2O3 single crystal substrate is prepared, and then, a GaN piezoelectric single crystal thin film of [0001] direction is epitaxially grown to a thickness of 0.3-300 &mgr;m on the substrate. Then an IDT electrode pattern is formed on the GaN piezoelectric single crystal thin film.

    Abstract: An apparatus in an automatic sheet feeder for a printer, a copy machine, or the like that prevents a corner of a sheet of feed paper from being turned down or "dog-eared" when that sheet of feed paper is being advanced from a stack of the feed paper. The apparatus includes a resilient finger engaging the forward edge of the sheet of feed paper. The resilient finger deflects slightly when the sheet of feed paper is urged forward such that the corner of the sheet of feed paper advances past the finger without folding or becoming dog-eared and the sheet of feed paper is separated from the stack of paper. In a preferred embodiment, the resilient finger is pivotally secured to a cassette for holding the stack of paper, and the finger is biased to engage the top most sheet of the stack of feed paper.

    Abstract: A circuit discriminates the tape speed in a speed-change playback mode in a video processing system based upon the drop out signal derived from the video signal read off the tape. The circuit discerns differences between the pulse widths of the drop out signals of standard play (SP) and long play (LP) recorded video signals. The circuit has a low pass filter (51) connected in series with a comparator (53). The low pass filter (51) takes the drop out pulse signal from a pre-amplifier (10) or from a luminance/chroma processor and filters the drop out pulse signal to determine its DC level. The comparator compares the filtered DC level of the drop out pulse signal to a reference voltage, and based upon the comparison makes a determination whether the video signal on the tape is recorded at standard play speed or long play speed.

These transformations are accomplished by first setting vertical and horizontal addresses of a reference pixel among pixel data stored in the storage memory, and setting an image mode for transforming an original image in a predetermine pattern. Addresses are then generated, in accordance with the set reference pixel and the set image mode, for selecting an N.times.M set of pixel data from among the (N+a).times.(M+b) pixel data in the storage memory.

Therefore, the semiconductor substrate for a unit active element and the MMIC to be able to operate the high frequency band is manufactured into the silicon, and thus it is advantageous to reduce the cost and enhance the yield.
