A method of a first communication node may comprise: adding the first communication node as a primary secondary cell (PSCell) to a second communication node through dual connectivity (DC); generating a first user plane path for smart dynamic switching (SDS) and a first instance for supporting the first user plane path according to a request from the second communication node; transmitting information on the first user plane path and the first instance to a terminal; receiving user data based on the first user plane path from the terminal as the first instance; and transmitting the user data to a core network using the first user plane path.

Abstract: Disclosed is an image forming apparatus. The present image forming apparatus comprises: an input unit for receiving a scanning option; a communication unit for transmitting the received scanning option to another image forming apparatus; a scanning unit for scanning a first document according to the scanning option and generating first scanned data; and a control unit for receiving second scanned data in which a second document is scanned according to the scanning option in another image forming apparatus, and combining the first scanned data and the second scanned data.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus that saves resources supports a resource saving mode which has at least one function, includes a button to select the resource saving mode; a storage unit to store a preset function which is applied when the resource saving mode is selected; and a controller to execute the resource saving mode by applying the preset function to a corresponding job when the button is pressed, wherein the preset function is set by default or editable. Hence, resources may be saved while simultaneously increasing the convenience to the user.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus and a control method thereof that provides a convenient print resume when printing is halted. The control method of the image forming apparatus includes obtaining image data to be printed which are selected among image data stored in a memory card, printing the selected image data, preparing a print list for the selected image data, if a printing operation is interrupted, preparing a list of image data suspended from printing and storing the list of unprinted image data. Therefore, although the printing operation may be interrupted before all image data to be printed are completely printed, the list of image data suspended from printing stored in the memory card makes it more convenient for a user to resume the printing operation on the unprinted image data without repeating the routine, namely, selecting image data to be printed and resetting the print options, to print the unprinted image data afterwards.

The apparatus includes: an input unit to connect to the recording media and input thumbnail information from image files stored on the recording media; a storage unit to store the thumbnail information; a displayer to display the thumbnail information stored in the storage unit; and a controller to control the storage unit to store each of the thumbnail information and the displayer to display the thumbnail information on a screen. The method includes connecting a plurality of recording media to a printing unit or a multi-functional device having a printing function, storing thumbnail information from the recording media in the storage unit, and displaying the stored thumbnail information at one time, thereby displaying images stored on the plurality of recording media all at one time, and selecting a desired image file from the displayed thumbnail images.

Abstract: An image forming method and apparatus with determination of set values including the steps of grouping image data into a plurality of groups by resolution, determining picture sizes of the image data of a first group, of which the image data have a resolution smaller than a predetermined resolution from among the plurality of groups, and outputting the image data of the first group, of which the picture sizes have been determined. In this way, by determining the picture sizes and the output resolution modes suitable for the resolutions of the image data group, it is possible to eliminate the undesired steps of individually selecting pictures, picture sizes, and output resolution modes, and prevent the image data from being erroneously output.
