Abstract: A method for preventing or treating a bone disease, includes administering to a patient having the bone disease a pharmaceutical composition comprising glyceollin as an active ingredient. The active ingredient, glyceollin promotes degradation of the Runx2 protein in osteoblasts and inhibits the mRNA expression of Rankl in osteoblasts to prevent the differentiation of osteoclasts. Furthermore, glyceollin is capable of ameliorating osteoporosis in animal models for osteoporosis. The composition promises drug or food for prevention or treatment of not only osteoporosis but also bone diseases caused by cancer metastatic to the bone.

Abstract: Provided is a 3D eyeglass of a shutter type. In the 3D eyeglass, a case in which infrared ray shielding surface is formed is provided on a front surface of a 3D eyeglass sensor, and a telephoto lens for telescoping and collecting light is provided on an inner-front surface of the case wherein a diameter of the telephoto lens is 1.5 times great as or greater than a diameter of the sensor to increase a collecting capability of infrared ray to 1.5 times as a prior art, and a focal point distance of the telephoto lens is 2-40 mm and is movable for the sensor to be focused on a screen at remote distance. Accordingly, infrared ray interference from an external light can be avoided and 3D signal on a specific picture can be amplified and sensed, and thereby viewing a clear 3D images.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a PET-MRI combination apparatus which can extend transaxial and axial fields of view (FOV) by transmitting an output signal from a photo sensor to the outside of an MRI bore using cable. The PET-MRI combination apparatus includes an MRI bore for capturing an MR image of an object. A PET detector is installed inside imaging space of the MRI bore, and is configured such that a plurality of scintillation crystal arrays, each having scintillation crystals arranged in a ring shape, is arranged in a longitudinal direction so as to extend a axial field of view (FOV). A PET circuit unit is installed outside the MRI bore to prevent the PET circuit unit from being influenced by a magnetic field in the MRI bore, and is configured to include a signal amplification circuit and a signal processing circuit. A cable is configured to connect the PET detector to the PET circuit unit.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for determining a genotoxicity of a test substance, comprising the steps of: (a) transforming a fish with a nucleotide sequence encoding a non-fluorescent fluorescence protein with a mutation; (b) treating a test substance to the transformed fish; and (c) measuring a fluorescence in the test substance-treated fish, wherein the fluorescence is generated by reversion of the non-fluorescent fluorescence protein to the fluorescence protein due to a back mutation of the nucleotide sequence in the test substance-treated fish. According to the present invention, MutaFish system, Zebrafish (Brachydanio rerio) line, in which the fluorescence protein variant, preferably wild type EGFP variant (EGFPmut) is transformed, provides a much excellent animal system for measuring a genotoxicity of a test substance via production of a fluorescent fry larvae generated through reversion of the fluorescent protein variant caused by treatment of the test substance.

Abstract: A user interface method for a terminal for a vehicle is provided. The terminal obtains position information to detect a point of a road. A road image of a driving direction is obtained, a lanes of the road represented on the obtained road image is recognized, and a point of a road and lane in which the vehicle having the terminal arranged therein is detected. A virtual road image regarding the recognized lanes is generated, and the generated virtual lanes are added to the road image of the driving direction of the vehicle, and displayed. Traffic information for each lane and surrounding information (i.e. lane closure, construction, accident, etc.,) at the detected point of the relevant road are obtained, and the obtained information is displayed for each virtual lane.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a resistance variable memory device, and more particularly, to a resistance variable memory device capable of preventing an effect of coupling noise. The resistance variable memory device includes: a memory cell connected to a bit line; a precharge circuit precharging the bit line in response to a precharge signal; a bias circuit providing a bias voltage to the bit line in response to a bias signal; and a control logic controlling the precharge signal and the bias signal. The control logic provides the bias signal to the bias circuit at a precharge interval. Accordingly, the resistance variable memory device according to the present invention can prevent an effect coupling noise.

Abstract: A method for measuring human intelligence using a neurobiogical model is provided. The method enables neurometric IQ to be measured by processing MRI and fMRI images of a subject to determine cortical thicknesses and brain activation level, determining structural IQ (sIQ) and functional IQ (fIQ) from the determined cortical thicknesses and brain activation level, and using the structural IQ (sIQ) and the functional IQ (fIQ) as predictors to measure the neurometric IQ of the subject. With this, individual differences in general cognitive ability can be easily assessed. It suggests that general cognitive ability can be explained by two different neural bases or traits: facilitation of neural circuits and accumulation of crystallized knowledge.

Abstract: There are provided a printing apparatus and a method for processing real-time commands using the same. Abstract: Provided are a receiver and a method for detecting a signal in a multiple antenna system. The receiver includes a filter coefficient calculator and a signal detector. After separating a first signal portion and a second signal portion, the filter coefficient calculator calculates an MMSE filter coefficient using a Matrix Inversion Lemma such that an inverse matrix of the first signal portion has a predetermined constant value regardless of a repetition signal detection process. The signal detector detects a relevant transmission signal from an interference-removed reception signal using the MMSE filter coefficient.
