The present invention relates to the transmission of a filter bank multi-carrier (FBMC) symbol in a wireless communication system, and a method for operating a transmission terminal comprises the steps of: transmitting a first FBMC symbol generated by applying filters to subcarriers according to a first pattern; and transmitting a second FBMC symbol generated by applying the filters to the subcarriers according to a second pattern.
