Abstract: Disclosed is an electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery including a first material including a carbon material, a second material of a nanostructure formed on the first material, the second material including at least one selected from a metal and a metalloid capable of reversibly alloying with lithium, and a third material present on a surface of at least one of the first material and the second material to control a side reaction with an electrolyte solution, an electrode including the electrode active material, and a lithium secondary battery having the electrode.

Abstract: Transistors with improved thermal conductivity are disclosed. Portions of the transistor or elements adjacent to the transistor are made from materials that are electrically insulative, but have high thermal conductivities. Increased thermal conductivity provides increased heat dissipation from the transistor, which results in less resistance and less power consumption, which in turns generally improves performance. For example, in a first non-limiting exemplary aspect, the material that can be included for electrical insulation, but having high thermal conductivity for increased heat dissipation is Beryllium Oxide (BeO). In a second non-limiting exemplary aspect, the material that can be included for electrical insulation, but having high thermal conductivity for increased heat dissipation is Aluminum Nitride (AlN).

The method may include acquiring a cut boundary of a shot by performing a shot boundary detection with respect to each frame of an input video, computing a texture saliency with respect to each pixel of the input video, computing a motion saliency with respect to each pixel of the input video, computing an object saliency with respect to each pixel of the input video based on the acquired cut boundary of the shot, acquiring a universal saliency with respect to each pixel of the input video by combining the texture saliency, the motion saliency, and the object saliency, and smoothening the universal saliency of each pixel using a space-time technology.

Abstract: Provided are a method for creating, editing and reproducing a multi-object audio content file for an object-based audio service and a method for creating audio presets. The multi-object audio content file creating method includes creating a plurality of frames for each audio object forming an audio content; and creating a multi-object audio content file by grouping and storing the frames according to each reproduction time. This invention can enhance functions of the object-based audio service and make it easy to access to each audio object of an audio content file.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a graphene oxide composite fiber includes forming a supporting fiber having positive charges thereon; forming a solution containing graphene oxide having a negative charge thereon to provide a graphene oxide-containing solution; coating the supporting fiber with the graphene oxide-containing solution; and permitting self-assembly of the graphene oxide of the graphene oxide -containing solution and the supporting fiber by an attraction between the positive and negative charges to form the graphene oxide composite fiber. The method may include coating the supporting fiber with a solution containing a material having an amine group to provide a positive surface charge on the supporting fiber. The method may include reducing the graphene oxide composite fiber to a graphene composite fiber, such as by one of a thermal reduction method, an optical reduction method, and a chemical reduction method.
