Abstract: The present invention relates to a double-sided metallic laminate for a printed circuit board and a method for manufacturing the same. The double-sided metallic laminate which comprises a metallic layer at one side, a resin layer of a polyimide for improving adhesion with a metal, a resin layer of a low expansion polyimide having a thermal expansion coefficient of 5×10?6 to 2.5×10?5/° C. and a metallic layer at the other side, has excellent flexibility and thermal resistance, can prevent curl and is securely laminated, particularly without the use of an adhesive. Therefore, it is suitable for a printed circuit board of a small size electric appliance.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method to provide adaptive recording, in which a group of pictures (GOP) is selectively recorded in a multi-media apparatus having a recording function. The recording method includes decoding content data and analyzing the content data in GOPs of the content data, and selectively storing an analyzed GOP according to recording settings.

Abstract: A method and apparatus to control reproduction of a media signal by using a tag includes receiving a request for generating tag information for controlling the reproduction of the media signal using a tag, generating the tag information according to the request for generating tag information, and storing the generated tag information in a tag. The tag information is generated independently from an original media signal and is used in controlling the media signal, and thus the reproduction of the media signal can be controlled without editing the media signal.

Abstract: A water supply control apparatus and method for an ice maker, in which an amount of supplied water is controlled so as to supply an accurate amount of the water to an ice tray. The method includes the steps of (a) supplying water to an ice tray for a predetermined time; (b) determining whether or not a proper amount of water has been supplied to the ice tray after the predetermined time has elapsed; and (c) resetting the predetermined time based on predetermined water supply data, in case that it is determined that the proper amount of water has not supplied to the ice tray.

Thus, the substrate delivering apparatus is capable of facilitating delivery of a substrate while maintaining structural stability.

Abstract: A method and apparatus to automatically set a speaker mode based on characteristics of a speaker installed in an audio/video system. The method includes generating a predetermined broadband signal and reproducing the predetermined broadband signal through a speaker, determining a reproducing ability of the speaker for each frequency band by analyzing frequency characteristics of the predetermined broadband signal reproduced through the speaker, and setting the speaker mode of the speaker based on the determined reproducing ability of the speaker.
