Abstract: The present invention relates to a polyarylene sulfide that is prepared from a composition including 100 parts by weight of solid sulfur, 500 to 10,000 parts by weight of iodinated aryl compounds, and 0.03 to 30 parts by weight of a sulfur-containing polymerization terminator with respect to 100 parts by weight of the solid sulfur, and has a melting temperature (Tm) of 255 to 285° C., and luminosity of 40 or higher as defined by the CIE Lab color model, and a process of preparing the same. The PAS resin is prepared from a composition including a sulfur-containing polymerization terminator and thus has excellent thermal properties and luminosity.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for transmitting a synchronization signal for cell search in an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) communications system. The method includes identifying a primary synchronization sequence; identifying a secondary synchronization sequence associated with a cell identifier; mapping the primary synchronization sequence based on center subcarriers in a first OFDM symbol; mapping the secondary synchronization sequence based on the center subcarriers in a second OFDM symbol; transmitting the mapped primary synchronization sequence in the first OFDM symbol; and transmitting the mapped secondary synchronization sequence in the second OFDM symbol. The second OFDM symbol is adjacent to the first OFDM symbol, and the center subcarriers are part of a system bandwidth and a part of the center subcarriers is not used for mapping the secondary synchronization sequence.

Abstract: Provided are a high-speed optical modulator and a method of modulating light by using the same. The optical modulator includes first and second resonance cavities that are sequentially stacked on a transparent substrate, wherein the first and second resonance cavities each include an electric-optical layer. According to the method, first and second voltages having different sizes are simultaneously applied respectively to the first and second resonance cavities, and then for the other configuration of the modulator mutually interchanged voltages are applied.

When the cartridge is rotated by the predetermined angle, air is supplied through the through-hole facing the inlet pipe such that one air freshener is discharged through the through-hole facing the outlet pipe, and the ball plungers are configured to block the rest of the through-holes.
