  • Publication number: 20060053735
Abstract: A reinforcing bar coupler is provided to couple a pair of reinforcing bars with a mechanical coupling method, thus ensuring a prompt and easy coupling operation and allowing the reinforcing bars to be firmly coupled to each other. The reinforcing bar coupler includes a cylindrical base sleeve. The base sleeve is open at a surface thereof, and has a first seating groove on an inner surface thereof so that the ends of the reinforcing bars are seated therein, and a pair of first locking parts each having a first slanted surface. A cover sleeve has a second seating groove on a surface thereof to cover the reinforcing bars seated in the first seating groove of the base sleeve. A wedge has a pair of second locking parts each having a second slanted surface, and is fitted into the base sleeve to wedge the cover sleeve and the reinforcing bars into the base sleeve.

  • Patent number: 6860672
Abstract: A reinforcing bar coupling is provided for simply and quickly applying to a mechanical butt joint of two bars in the concrete constructions. The reinforcing bar coupling is consisted of a cylindrical sleeve (2) formed an uneven inner surface (22) to mate with the ribs (11) formed around outer surface of the reinforcing bars (1), an intermediate pad (3) having an uneven semi-circular surface at one side and an inclined-declined flat surface at opposite side, a gap provided between the cylindrical sleeve (2) and the intermediate pad (3), and a pair of wedges (4) being inserted into the gap. The inner surface of the cylindrical sleeve (2) and the outer surface of the reinforcing bars (1) are radially compressed to provide the butt joint of the two bars (1) by the wedging action.

  • Publication number: 20040071507
Abstract: The object of this invention is to provide a reinforcing bar coupling used to easily, simply, quickly and mechanically butt-joint two reinforcing bars to each other for use in reinforced concrete construction. The reinforcing bar coupling consists of a cylindrical sleeve (2) axially receiving two reinforcing bars (1) through two inlets (20), with an uneven interior surface (22) formed in the sleeve (2) to correspond to the ribs (11) formed around the external surface of the bars (1). A plurality of wedges (4) are set in the gap between the bars (1) and the sleeve (2). The internal surface of the sleeve (2) and the external surface of the bars (1) with the wedges (4) are radially compressed to butt-joint the two bars (1) by the coupling.

  • Patent number: 6154244
Abstract: A beam scanning apparatus of an electrophotographic color printer having first and second light sources, and a deflecting unit including a driving source and first and second beam deflectors. The driving source has a rotation shaft and the first and second beam deflectors are coaxially installed on the rotation shaft and respectively deflect and scan beams of light emitted from the first and second light sources. First and second beam correcting units are arranged along the path of light between the deflecting unit and a photoreceptor and respectively correct the beams deflected by the first and second beam deflectors.
