  • Patent number: 10161494
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a sliding cam assembly. In particular, a requirement for wear resistance of a hollow tubular portion in which sliding takes place can be satisfied due to a cam piece being fixed to the hollow tubular portion by diffusion bonding while the sliding cam assembly repeatedly slides along a shaft, and each component can be separately machined and combined, thus minimizing an amount which is wasted at the time of machining, reducing the machining time, and rendering a separate heat treatment of a cam piece unnecessary.

  • Publication number: 20170159790
Abstract: Provided is a concentric camshaft and a method of manufacturing the same, in which at least one of a fixed cam and a rotatable cam is a sintered cam configured to fix the cam and an inner piece through diffusion bonding, capable of reducing a machining amount, simplifying a manufacturing process because a heat treatment process for improving cam surface hardness is unnecessary, and being applied to an engine having a small space because the weight is reduced through a weight-reducing structure of a surface of the cam and a width of the inner piece is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20070079877
Abstract: A crankcase pressure control valve with a bent nipple with a machined hole sealed later by a plug formed on a valve body. The crankcase pressure control valve has the bent nipple which makes linear access to the interior of the valve body difficult, thus allowing a bypass hole to be formed in the valve body through a relatively easy method using a slide core metal mold.
